A really nice story, thanks for sharing

I try to read all the content, even stuff I have no interest in.eg politics.

Wordle 722 5/6 Not quite me too @Fan of Big Tone ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ????⬜⬜⬜⬜ ????⬜⬜????⬜ ⬜???????????????? ????????????????????

David Mcgoldrick served us well last season and I would have liked him to stay but I think it would be asking too much to expect him to repeat his goal scoring performances consistently in League one week in week out.We were also very fortunate not to lose him for too many games due to injury. Also I think my team probably only offered him a one season contract. I wonder, will he be mainly used as a super sub for the last 20/30 minutes or will he be subbed himself after giving his all.Of course there is much more to his game than scoring goals.Expect the unexpected and little moments of magic. Thanks for the memories and good luck ,Didzy,

I don't know either @DangerousSausage and I can't remember what word I started with but think it was ISSUE,which gave me 3 letters

I often used to do crossword puzzles @Fan of Big Tone and this was a word I came across a few times.I can't say I've heard it in everyday conversation,a bit like axolotl Oh,by the way it took me 3 goes today.Honestly ,had a few attempts over the previous few days and made a right pigs foot of it but today I got off to a good start. The trick seems to be getting the vowels and then adding the least likely consonants in a word that fits.Very sneaky.

Our very own International Man of Mystery, top read, top fan and a top bloke.

Thank you for a very informative and enjoyable read @Simon Clark

A lovely story.Congratulations and best wishes to all the family.

All the emotions are plain to see as the drama unfolds. It's something all fans go through every matchday, except this match had a little bit more significance. It wasn't just about Notts returning to The Football League was it ?

It's been a long time coming, but at last I feel confident that both my clubs are simultaneously in good hands. Yes ,no egos, but sensible, sustainable, forward planning. Oh happy days.

Congratulations to all winners. From what I've seen on the telly this season the decision for the player categories has been harder this season than in many recent seasons .I think members have chosen wisely. I agree whole heartedly with choice for The Pride of Nottingham member of the year though there were many members who the accolade could have gone to for their contributions. There has been an increase in interest on PON this season resulting in a rise in contributors posting. In fact the post count must be getting back to what it was before Notts dropped into The National League. The reason for this increase isn't just down to the on field improvement of Notts but to to the quality of posts. @Piethagoram has consistently posted interesting Items and discussion starters and thoroughly deserves his award.Well done all.

This Derby County fan is supporting Notts,I haven't heard of any Rams even considering supporting Chesterfield.Anyway who cares,as you say,why whine about it if they do

Sat at home watching I was thinking what a rotten way to end Notts season if they lost on penalties.Thank goodness for Jodi !Jones

I got the feeling it wasn't Notts's day. especially after the pen miss. Credit to Notts for sticking to game plan.It was even more satisfying that the time wasting and imaginary injuries tactics didn't work in the end.

Absolute class from @Dry Nelson Ray (I still don't like gin)and also @Prodigal Red.I really hope the sportsmanship shown by Notts fans on this site gets rewarded and Notts County go on to finish the job. I have every confidence they will!!!

I've only seen Notts on the telly this season so I've ruled myself out of most of the voting.I have voted for Member of the year though. I've got a headache from arguing with myself over who I should select. Such a difficult choice but done.

This is a one chance game for both sides aiming to get to Wembley for another one chance game. All I can say in addition to the above posts is for fans to remain patient and keep behind Notts however they are playing. Encouragement not criticism.

A very good summary, thank you Simon Clark

What I've never been able to get my head round is "where does space end ?" Is there some kind of invisible barrier ? If so what is on the other side of this barrier.Surely space just goes on and on and on.As I say something I can't comprehend..

Looking forward to watching on BT with @GrannyPie weather permitting! Hopefully no sudden deep freeze ,cloudburst, hurricane or any other reason for a postponement!

Well we were looking forward to watching but thanks to the weather we can't now.

Looking forward to watching the game with @GrannyPie on BT Sport, hopefully after a win by Derbyshire's senior team.

Once again I listened with @GrannyPie and once again it sounded like a very good ,entertaining match though Notts seemed to be making a few unforced errors in the first 20 minutes .The second half seemed better from Notts and the game appeared to swing one way then the other as both teams had little spells of superiority. It could have gone either way.As extra time approached I mentioned to @GrannyPie and as @Fozzy commented above ,Notts could do without the added time.Unfortunately the wrong team got the winner right at the end.Hard luck Notts but well played and let's hope back to winning ways next game and beyond.
