  1. I think this falls on the team's ability to cope under pressure. Notts had an outstanding first half, but couldn't maintain the lead, caving under the opposite team's resurgence. It’s time for the team to not just invest in playing better but also in mental conditioning.
  2. Jones has become an embodiment of tireless determination and skill, traits that have led him to Wembley not once, but twice. His raw talent is evident on the football pitch and what's more striking is his level-headed approach towards even the grandest of stages. The calmness with which he plays and his technical prowess enable him to outmanoeuvre his opponents, making him an integral part of Notts County. Also, Jones's reverence for Arsenal merits mention. His ability to juggle his fanaticism alongside his professional commitments is indeed commendable. It's this blend of character, attitude, and ability that will propel Jones to even greater heights in the world of football.
  3. What a boost Gosling's arrival is! Precisely the type of seasoned player to infuse the squad with enthusiasm and motivation. His Premier League experience will undoubtedly bring a new dynamic to the team and provide great learning opportunities for our less seasoned players. Hats off to the coach for such a strategic signing!
  4. I genuinely believe that we possess all the necessary elements to achieve a positive outcome, and I have full confidence that Luke Williams will give his utmost effort. The real question lies in how Gillingham will approach the game. Both teams have the ability to score goals, but we are fortunate to have a formidable squad that, in theory, should excel. Let's hope they take the field with a burning desire to showcase our team's true potential.
  5. Bristol City 1-2 Coventry City Hull City 0-1 Southampton Burton Albion 2-0 Bristol Rovers Peterborough United 2-1 Wycombe Wanderers Bradford City 3-2 Wrexham Colchester United 0-2 Harrogate Town Rochdale 1-0 Oldham Athletic Southend United 0-2 Solihull Moors Joker
  6. There's no doubt in my mind that if we have faith, Notts can secure the win. It's high time we savored a triumph against Gillingham, and I firmly believe that each player will heartedly strive for this result to materialise. Let's rally behind the team and maintain our support. Come on, Notts!
  7. Williams is putting in maximum effort, and it's important for us to acknowledge that there may be some challenging periods along the way. However, considering our potential for promotion, I believe he is exceeding expectations. Realistically, I see us having a good chance in the playoffs, given the number of games our squad has played. Although there is a possibility of finishing somewhere in the middle of the table, let's come together and show our support for the club.
  8. Undoubtedly, David McGoldrick has already demonstrated his value, and I am delighted to see his remarkable performance. His statement regarding bouncing back from defeats is absolutely correct. It is essential for us to make adequate preparations and exert diligent effort. While challenges may arise along the way, we possess the ability to overcome them.

  10. A disappointing result, indeed. However, let's not overlook our team's spirit. The fightback spirit was commendable. It’s a learning curve.
  11. Colchester demonstrated a high quality of play, it's hard to deny. But hats off to the team for putting up a spirited performance. We could’ve got something from the goal ourselves but we didn’t.
  12. Sometimes, it’s games like these, where competitive tension is high and the opposition is formidable, where we truly see a team's mettle. Regardless of what the final scores are, this encounter is going to be a marvellous test to both teams' spirit and determination. Let's hope we can get the result we dream of, COYP!

  14. True to the saying, 'Football without fans is nothing.' Notts County's success story is a resounding testament to this adage. This article superbly outlines the symbiotic relationship that fans share with the team. The exhilarating atmosphere the supporters create is not just a spectacle to behold but also a strength for the players to draw from during those crucial 90+ minutes on the field. It's the unwavering cheer and relentless encouragement of fans that often becomes the invisible hand guiding the team to triumph.
  15. Leeds United 2-0 Watford Swansea City 0-0 Sheffield Wednesday Cambridge United 0-1 Port Vale Portsmouth 2-1 Lincoln City Joker Morecambe 0-3 Swindon Town Stockport County 1-0 Wrexham Gateshead 0-0 Maidenhead United Oldham Athletic 1-1 Oxford City
  16. Impressive feats from Jones. His ability to balance between club and country is commendable indeed.
  17. What an ending this game would have been if Macca had managed to direct his header into the net in those final minutes, eluding the MK Dons goalkeeper. It was an entertaining game between two good teams!
  18. The issue is that when a bigger club expresses interest in a player and the club refuses to negotiate, they weaken their position if the player decides to run out his contract. I would imagine that if the offer is lucrative, Harrogate should have accepted it or asked for a reasonable amount.
  19. I don’t want Oxford United to do well, but I do want Ruben Rodrigues to succeed. I just don’t think they are a club that deserves to be where they are. Their fans always act as if they deserve everything and have little patience when things aren’t going well.
  20. Now, the majority have said Adam Chicksen, but watch Will Randall stroll straight into the squad. For me, this would be the wrong decision and somewhat negative. Players have to wait their turn, but if it proves to be a good call, then that is all that matters. I would prefer Chicksen to get the minutes.
  21. I would exercise caution when considering becoming Fleetwood’s manager. I think Karl Robinson would be courageous to take on the role.
  22. Very sad, Rest in Peace Ian Hamilton.
  23. Luke Williams is certainly right, the incredible support from fans can make all the difference. Stadiums brimming with relentless energy can boost a team's spirit significantly. Also, congratulations to Jodi Jones on getting called up for the national team. It's a proud moment for all of us.
  24. What makes these moments extra special is the spectacular atmosphere that prevails at Meadow Lane, something that 'Faces of PON' captures brilliantly. The celebration and joy following our triumph over Accrington Stanley are memories to cherish. This sense of community and shared victory is exactly what makes supporting Notts rewarding. Glad to see that despite the worries, we held on to our nerve and came out as winners. Truly, these are the scenes that make the efforts worth it. Keep up the great work, @Chris.
  25. What an outstanding performance by Notts! They demonstrated true resilience and determination to bounce back after the setback of going level. The victory feels even more empowering, knowing that Notts are now at the top of the league table. The players put in a solid performance, and the entire squad showed their strength and depth. It’s truly a testament to the team’s character and ability to overcome adversity. Well done, Notts!
