  1. Enjoyed reading about Macari’s reflections on his time with Notts County. Switching from Stoke City must have been a significant change, but it’s evident he’s adapting well. His focus on defensive stability is exactly what we need, especially after last season’s issues with clean sheets. His comments on wanting to contribute more and play every game show his passion and dedication. It’s also interesting to note how he reminisces about the hectic nature of his transfer last year. Macari’s journey highlights his resilience and commitment to becoming the best player he can be. Excited to see him in action this season!

  2. It's a sad day for football. His legacy is bigger than his short time at Notts. That time shows how much people thought of Sven-Goran Eriksson. He was more than just the Director of Football. He was publicity and attracted a lot of interest. This made the club feel much bigger than a League Two team. I can still remember the letter Notts sent me. It had a picture of Sven welcoming me to Meadow Lane before the new season.

  3. Nick's honesty and passion shine through in his interview. Leaving a club as close to his heart as Crawley Town must have been difficult, but his excitement for the new opportunities at Notts County is evident.

I admire how he balances his respect for his old club with his enthusiasm for the new one. It’s great to see a player who’s not just skilled but also thoughtful and genuine. I believe Nick will be a fantastic addition to Notts County, bringing with him not just talent, but also a fantastic attitude.

  4. I'm very excited about Nick Tsaroulla’s addition to our team. His dual capability as both an attacker and defender, combined with his experience in League Two, makes him an ideal fit for our squad. Plus, his personality seems fantastic, as mentioned by Richard Montague. He’ll surely be an asset in both gameplay and team spirit.

  5. I’m really hopeful with Alex Bass’s addition to Notts County's squad. His remarks about striving for promotion and his steady presence in goal are motivating. His background with AFC Wimbledon brings seasoned experience, and that's something Notts County can certainly benefit from. It's also commendable how he’s keen to integrate into Nottingham and form strong relationships with his teammates and the coaching staff. The new season looks promising with Bass safeguarding our net.

  6. It’s positive how he fits into our system here, due to his similar style at Wealdstone. However, it will be a significant step up for him and his assistant. I appreciate the optimistic outlook, as this should support Stuart Maynard. I hope fans won’t prematurely call for his dismissal before he gets a real chance to build momentum. I’d say we should give him at least half of his contract. I’ll back him and Notts in every match, but I’m worried that some people might not be satisfied and could try to ruin it for everyone.

  7. I'm really impressed with O'Brien's leadership during this interim period. His focus on maintaining consistency despite the situation is exactly what Notts County needs heading into this crucial clash with Stockport. It's a testament to his professionalism and the respect he's garnered from the players. The fact that they're putting aside personal disappointments and concerns to focus on the collective goal of winning is inspiring and bodes well for the match. All the best to the team!

  8. As the transfer window winds down, it's reassuring to hear the board's confidence in bolstering the squad post-Maynard's arrival. Optimal signings alongside Maynard's nous might just be what propels our season. This indeed marks a promising chapter for Notts County. While some might be skeptical, this is the time for optimism and unity amongst the fans.

  9. He was a true maestro in the midfield, orchestrating the game and making things happen. What stands out most in my memory is his tireless work ethic and his commitment to always give 100%. Davies was an invaluable asset to us, and I believe he was one of the best signings made at the onset of the Munto era.

  10. Can't help but admire Williams' honesty and respect for Wimbledon. Too many times, coaches disregard the competitors' strengths. This acknowledgment, however, only underlines the preparations Notts County is making to counter them. The match-up between the two teams will undoubtedly be a fierce one, and, as Williams rightly points out, maintaining intensity will play a significant role.

  11. It's rather heartening to hear Joe Palmer's acknowledgement of the swell in fan attendance and the palpable surge that has been crucial in the team's success. Shows a deep respect and consciousness towards fans which is sadly lacking in many big-name clubs. Its great leadership for keeping their feet grounded and recognising the role of the supporters.

As for the proposed changes in stadium experience, the introduction of state-of-the-art amenities, expansion of seats or potential pitch could be quite transformative. Taking a holistic approach to improving the overall match day experience reveals a meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment. The optimism radiating from the forum is quite contagious.

  12. Reading McGoldrick's statements here just reaffirms my faith in this squad. He acknowledges the defeat without downplaying the disappointment, but he undeterredly ploughs ahead, showing determination and grit. We need more players with such an infectious passion for the game, it's elements like these that truly bind a club together. As for the fans, it's heartwarming to see McGoldrick's appreciation, this will certainly reinforce the strong bond between the players and the fans.

  13. The direction things are taking suggests that Notts must adhere to the standards set by Luke Williams. It’s a lengthy season with inevitable challenging matches, and there will be teams against which we might have expected better results. However, we will also gain points unexpectedly. The key for Notts is to remain among the leading pack, which at this point would signify a successful season in my view.

  14. I’m not implying that this will necessarily happen, but a robust recruitment policy can sometimes make it more tempting to look elsewhere rather than nurturing and providing opportunities to young players. I’m confident that if Notts remains steadfast, we’ll eventually see several home-grown players in the squad. However, I believe that until we reach the Championship, assuming we do, that’s when the young players will have more opportunities. Likely, league teams will assist with their development while they’re on loan. Notts simply needs to maintain a forward-thinking approach and, as with the academy, ensure nothing diverts the focus even when there are staffing changes. Nurture them, provide opportunities, and who knows what the future holds?
