I love the fact that Belshaw is a Notts fan who grew up in Clifton, was a mascot as a boy, grew up supporting Notts, played for Clifton All Whites, played for Notts Academy. I totally agree with @Fan of Big Tone one of our own and full of enthusiasm and experience can only be a positive. The great thing about his experience is that it's been gained at different levels and includes the joyful feelings of promotion and the fighting for said promotions. His attitude and demeanor show how focused and happy he is becoming part of a winning machine. Welcome to our collective James, may your contribution be towards the greater good. ⚽️

Good morning one and all, nice to see a clear picture, and as @Fan of Big Tone says all the treacherous surfaces have been replaced by easy going ones. Hope you have a nice pleasant walk, and for Mrs T, steady as she goes. Not my usual self this morning, think I have a water infection, so off to the doctors later to find out. Antibiotics should hopefully do the trick. Have a good day everyone and make the most of the weather as its changing over the week.

I think lull before the storm, what devastation has storm Garetti played at our doorstep. 🌨️ Had to fetch the gaffers two horses in at 5 this morning, fighting through snow, wind and freezing conditions. She is happy now they are warm and fed, bless them. Then a drive to deliver her, and make sure she gets to work, Side roads are a little iffy and the 614 isn't great either. I think the council have gritted but not pushed the snow to the side , which i think would of been possible and made things safer for all. Back now to have a day working from home, happy days 😊

Death is always difficult to deal with especially when you know the person, a good friend of mine fought Prostrate Cancer for 4 years but it took him in the end after a hard fight and plenty of positive effort. Up and out early this morning, it's quite mild and very quiet outside. Probably the lull before the storm, we'll see. @DangerousSausage my thoughts and prayers are with you and your friends family and friends. Tough times. 🙏

@super_ram get well soon, honey, butter and sugar warmed in the microwave is the way according to my nana. (I know they didn't have them back in the day, she used a pan of water on the open fire and ingredients in a tough glass). I have just thawed out from Monday's walk to work and back, and done it again today so I will probably be thawed by Saturday 🥶 all ready for our away trip to Oldham on the television. Glad to hear @Fan of Big Tone keeping warm in this climate is a must for us pensioners 😀 and as you say this very kind government of ours has contributed towards the cost.

Simple answer to yesterday, poor performance by the whole team, including management and no plan 'B' 10,000 fans gave up their plans and hard earned money to support the team, with what reaction, simply nothing. Even staunch, dedicated fans are questioning the choices, playing style and application. Let's hope that we can re-boot and come out with something against Gillingham. ⚽️

Rod Macdonald would of been top of my tree, but injury sidelined him and the rest is history. Tom Iorpenda even after the ups and downs has settled and now is in a class of his own. Looking forwards to watching him for the rest of the season. Without Matthew Dennis and his goals, where would we be. Seems to drift in and out of games to me, but a good asset to the squad. Jacob Bedeau a great defender, playing with total confidence, enhanced now with the captains armband is my pick of the bunch. This season (I agree with @theAnticlough ) the depth of squad players, and quality at that, is giving Martin good all round backup whichever team he picks. And as @Robbie says Consistency is now the key to where we go and where we end up. COYP

Platt was the only stand out player for me, but after the first 25 or so minutes we disappeared. No fight no cohesion nothing.
