Weekly Chat Monday 4th to Sunday 10th May
Hello and welcome to retirement Tuesday, the day after bank holiday Monday 😀 Just had a weekend in Skeg Vagas as Mrs P wanted to take Isabella our grand daughter to see K Pop at the Embassy Theatre, she didn't know and when the two of them went in, as you can imagine Isabella went crazy happy as she loves K Pop music at the moment. I was left literally holding the baby as I had our youngest grand daughter Imagine for the evening. So a good time was had by all. Fortunately I was able to pull in the Bristol game and jump on the train to Skeg Vagas afterwards. I have to agree @Fan of Big Tone that Derby County were unlucky not to get to the playoffs, Mrs P's dad Gordon is an avid fan and used to attend regularly, sympathy with @super_ram also. Horses done this morning, washing hung out, just the grass to mow, i don't know about retirement, I'm doing more now than I ever did at work, and it's longer hours 😅 Thought for the day. Hope but never expect, look forward but never wait.

What a beautiful day to go and watch some Football. We need to be nothing more than eellogofusciouhipoppokunurious today on this wonderful matchday. Thought for the day. Consciously, enjoy every moment, remembering the tenderness of the past, the value of the present and the hope of the future.

Match Discussion: League Two - Bristol Rovers (A)
I agree with @NCFCGuy and his starting 11. Belshaw, Ness, McDonald, Bedeau, Jones, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Robertson, Iorpenda, Luker and Jatta. Personally my thoughts are with every single player, Martin and his backroom staff. They have all done us proud and whatever happens tomorrow we should bring the house down, giving every single one of them our gratitude and thanks for another entertaining and enjoyable season. We are so fortunate supporting the oldest professional football club in the world, show that tomorrow LOUD and PROUD. COYP 👏 📢 🤠

Thought for the day. If history repeats itself, is it because no one was listening the first time?

Weekly Chat Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May
Well @Chris it's lovely to hear you are making good progress, sometimes adding your own solutions and working them side by side with your Doctors recommendations sit easy because you know your own body better than anyone and therefore accept what is given as an add on. Good support is a necessity to improve your health. Great to hear that your back is on the mend @Fan of Big Tone you will definitely need it for a 3 week cruise, sailing the seven seas. 😎🚢 Being a pensioner and now retired I understand where you are coming from regarding the shopping, filling up the car and buying clothes for holidays etc. Prices are getting ridiculous and showing no sign of decreasing in price. Think I might have to go back to work 🤔 What a beautiful sunny morning, slight breeze over the paddock this morning but the coat is off and all is well. Have a great day everyone 😀

Weekly Chat Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May
Once again a beautiful morning, although the breeze still has a chill riding on it. Good to see you back @liampie and returning to the fold after all the training to improve your chances. You doing this reminded me of some words I read a while back. "Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself." Keep working hard and you will reap your rewards. As for you @Chris i also have read words that I thought you would like. "Never mistake knowledge for wisdom. One helps you make a living, the other helps you make a life." Happy Wednesday everyone, have a lovely day. 🤠

Weekly Chat Monday 27th April to Sunday 3rd May
Thank you @Fan of Big Tone for the above. The flowers adorn the horses paddock and look so beautiful. Congratulations 🎊 I hope you both enjoy the fish and chips. A lovely way to meet back in the day, no wonder you have a bad back 🕺💃🤣 All the best @Chris for your appointment today, stay positive and all will be good. I know how you feel as I have had a telephone appointment this morning regarding my continuous chronic migraine (which I've had for the past two years) and I was apprehensive regarding what are we going to try next of the botox, pills and injections, we chose an oral solution this time, start in a couple of weeks. I would give anything for something that works. Not to worry though, onwards and upwards. The weather this morning is quite chilly and windy down at the paddock, so quick feed, hay out and poo picked then back home for some brekky and a nice cup of tea. Have a great day everyone 😀

beautiful flowers in the paddock on this lovely sunny and warm morning. Anyone know what these are please. @Fan of Big Tone sorry to hear that you are still suffering with the back problems. Have you seen anyone about it? Might need a little manipulation to put things right, don't forget we need our backs for a very long time. 🕺🏌🏋♂️⛹️♂️🚴♂️🤸🤼♂️🤽♂️🤾♂️🤠

Weekly Chat Monday 20th to Sunday 26th April
Sounds like we all need a drop of the Tin Man's oil 🛢️🤔 my groin and right knee are suffering at the moment and as @super_ram says it's down to old age. I really hope that your back improves @Fan of Big Tone as the last time I had back problems I could only crawl and it took an Osteopath to put it right. A beautiful morning once again, and a pleasure to witness and be out in it. I was lucky enough to be serenaded by a beautiful Robin today and it made me think how fortunate I am being able to hear, see and appreciate such a wonderful thing. @Chris thank you once again for your tireless enthusiasm and hard work keeping the PON site up to date and easy to use. Top Man. Thought for the day :- Do not regret growing older, It's a privilege denied to many.

@Fan of Big Tone it's good to hear you are keeping your nose to the grindstone so to speak 😀 nice one with the bathroom unit recycling, we tend to throw anything away nowadays, even if it could be of use to others. Bit of a chilly start here in the midshires, the easterly wind doesn't help. Covered Mrs P and myself when putting out the horses hay, came back looking like scarecrows. Popping out to the garden centre for a few plants and maybe a nice afternoon tea accompanied possibly with a scone or two. 🫖☕️

Hits Radio is my go to for music at the moment and Sam Fender with Olivia Dean, "Don't Reign Me In" is the number one song in my playbook. Sam Fender being my favourite music at this time. I also enjoy Spotify and have several playlists with Sam Fender my most listened to songs just now.

It is very simple, play as we did last weekend and we are toast, play to our potential then get ready for promotion. 🙈🙉🙊 COYP ⚽️🥇

How has this been allowed?
Clubs don’t get to use it freely. Typically they must prove: They have no fit professional goalkeeper available The situation is temporary The loan is short-term (often 7 days at a time) Absolute Rubbish, not been thought through at all.

Weekly Chat Monday 13th April to Sunday 19th April
You are well blessed @Chris having such a wonderful person in your life. Our second Son is just the same, he always uses the best fresh ingredients and spices, the aroma when he is cooking makes ones mouth water. I wish him well with the portable business, our son is looking at the same and making chicken and vegetarian wraps, spicy and non spicy. Another possible Gordon Ramsey 👨🍳 🤔 @Fan of Big Tone i hope the weekend goes well, the forecast is good 👍 🌤🌞 Just back from walking the dogs, the weather is beautiful, with the birds singing and the wind whispering through the trees. No one else here, just me and the boys, soooooooo peaceful and tranquil. Have a good day everyone. 🤠🐶🐶

Weekly Chat Monday 13th April to Sunday 19th April
Top of the mornin everyone. Dull and overcast here in the mid shires. Nice pair @Fan of Big Tone the Giunea Fowl i mean, not feet 🤔 great idea to challenge yourselves once again, fair play to you. Horses fed, watered and poo picked. Now a steady walk home for some brekky and carry out Mrs P's instructions which includes several pieces of cut sleeper to make a wildflower bed. Not a problem 👌 @Chris you can't beat quality food, and it sounds like you have a gem in Mark who really does sound like a Saint, good people like him are a Godsend. Looks like morning into early afternoon is you best bet to be rain free, so make the most of it my friend. 🌥🌦🌧 Had a great weekend in Newcastle as I took Mrs P to see Rick Astley (one of her favourites) and the bonus was Gabrielle did the opening set, how fortunate were we 😎 Make the most of your day and the gift of life. 👍🖖
