  1. Good morning to you lovely PONsters. Nice to hear that you are keeping a positive vibe @Chris i hope things keep ticking along and growing, remember Rome wasn't built in a day. This little chap greeted me this morning with beautiful song, and stayed all the time i was offloading the horse muck. I hope everyone has a great day, it's good to be alive. 🤠
  2. Snap @Fan of Big Tone i will be getting in the garden today as Mrs P has designed what she wants the back garden to look like, so much for retirement 😀 I must admit it's a reasonable looking design and gets rid of most of the grass, less mowing but just enough for the dogs 🐕 to use if necessary. Have a lovely evening one and all.
  3. Remember It always seems impossible until it's done. ⚽
  4. Never give up,stay positive. Only pass when you know it's on. Tight from back to front. Together we win, devided we fall. Strong and hard in all we do. Captain Matt lead us to victory. Ollie Norburn please stay on the pitch. Undivided love from all your fans. Nothing but the best for all the game. Treat the game like a cup final. You match all these and were going up. COYP............

  6. Fresh air, food and family, you can't beat it. Great to see you on the positive side @Chris doing the right thing and involving the kids once again, happy days. I have to agree with you @Fan of Big Tone the sound of the countryside is stunning, especially at this time of year, everything seems to be regenerating and taking in that first gasp of spring and the cacophony of birdsong is awesome. I hope you enjoy your carbonara this evening.
  7. @Chris you have my total empathy, back pain is only second to toothache and has more of a negative affect. The one thing in your favour is that you can still feel the pain, many who have now left this earthly plain would give anything to feel pain at all. Stay positive and humble my friend, giving gratitude for your first breath every morning. 🙏
  8. oh what a beautiful morning, although at this time I'm still yawning. The sun slowly raising from his bed, spreading untold goodness it's said. Bringing happiness to one and all, lasting beauty from the fireball. Warm rays bathing everything touched, caressing and comforting us much. Thanks so muchfor moments like these, Putting all our lives at ease.
  9. There is a method in my madness @Fan of Big Tone up with the wife and get a lift to the stables when she goes to work, sort the horses and then a steady walk home for brekky, simples 🤫😇👍😂
  10. Good morning the day after, and all was well for Bank Holiday Monday, with 3 being a good number, 3 goals, 3 points and up to 3rd. Making everyone triple happy. Tuesday and what a beautiful start to the day, a little crisp at 07:00 but sunshine is winning now, horses fed and watered, paddock poo picked and hay boxes filled. Muck tipped and feed buckets washed out ready for refilling later. All tidied up and now home for breakfast. I think that this retirement thing is just the job. 🤠
  11. @Paris Sandwich Man you have hit the nail right on its head and I totally agree with you. Bad attitude and petty child like actions have in my opinion robbed us of guaranteed promotion and as you so rightly said in any other walk of life they would be instantly dismissed and a possibility of arrest and a charge. As fans of such a Wonderful Club we look forwards to seeing the best side put out and good football being played, it's disgraceful that some players don't show the respect and effort required towards the fan base and Club itself.

  13. Definitely a game where we threw away at least a point. You are always vulnerable after scoring, and we sure we're, too busy thinking we had rescued a point, then bang back to square one. Monday the 6th and get this train back on the tracks against Newport. COYP.
  14. Thank you @Chris for your kind words. As expected I already have a list as long as my arm as well as being promoted to head stable boy. No rest for the wicked Much appreciated @StarkMallard I am afraid Freddie the Ferret is away on holiday at the moment doing his stud thing up in bonnie Scotland. @Fan of Big Tone i hope you enjoy the Indian this evening, my favourite food and my favourite restaurant is the Water Lilly in Mansfield. The only catch is that you are overlooked by Mansfield Town FC. 🥴 But for good food sacrifices have to be made i'm afraid.
  15. Thank you @theAnticlough and @Fan of Big Tone onwards and upwards from now on. What a beautiful morning especially as Mrs P has appointed me head stable boy 🙃 happy days.
  16. Today the first of April 2026, the shackles of work were removed and I am now free to enter into a long and positive future 😀 the world is now my playground, so beware Mad Mick is out to party 24/7. Not really, I'm just happy to forge and be in charge of my own destiny. 🖖 Live Long and Prosper. 👣

  18. Congratulations @Fan of Big Tone and Mrs T,what a fantastic achievement for you both. No mean feat 100,000 steps you should really be proud of yourselves and in only 30 days. Well done. 🥳
  19. Totally agree with @Fan of Big Tone and @menzinho the fact that Martin Patterson has grown into the job, giving that his pedigree wasn't in the top echelons to begin, he is certainly up there now. Guiding our sometimes luckless team (injuries ect) to where we are now, hovering over automatic promotion/playoffs, with all, including the backroom staff, giving every sinue of themselves to achieve the ultimate goal. Absolutely brilliant 👏 Whatever the outcome, you have to admire the attitude and effort put in overall to achieve something very special. Well done Martin and his Magpies.

  21. Welcome on board @ted beardsall may you enjoy the comradery and togetherness of the PON community. Believe in the Ferret. 🐾
  22. @Peter Craddock a jolly good welcome to our wonderful community of fanatical fans, from me and Freddie the Ferret. 🐾
  23. @Chris that all sounds scrummy and is making me hungry. My mum used to bake all sorts, from scones to jam tarts, and cheese, onion and potato pie, my absolute favourite with beans, and apple pies to die for. That's me being a little biased me thinks 🤔 What we need to know now is do you answer to Domino, whooo, hoo 🤣
  24. Hello all, great to hear @Fan of Big Tone is now having fun in one of my favourite places 😀 you can't beat fish and chips at the seaside. Keep enjoying my friend. Didn't realise @Chris you were a pastry and pudding chef, fruit crumbles, especially apple is my favourite, with loads of custard 😋 please. Great to hear that you are making good progress on the coding front, keep up the good work. 🖥️
