Hello one and all from a misty Morocco. Does anyone remember the Time Tunnel? We have one in our Hotel 🤔

All the way from Morocco to the Pies fans all over the world, did you know:- It was a big moment in the history of Notts County Football Club on Saturday the 31st of January 2026 against Fleetwood. When Notts had beaten Fleetwood it emerged that Notts had become only one of two Clubs, ( Port Vale being the other) that had beaten all current 91 League Clubs in the top four tiers of the football pyramid.

The omission of Cole Palmer, Morgan Gibbs-White, Harry Maguire and one or two others has seriously depleted the team in key positions. Maguire is a genuine go to defender who gives everything for England and always has done, Mr dependable who will be sorely missed. The inclusion of Jordan Henderson is an insult to English football and a kick in the teeth for Palmer and Gibbs- White. How has Ivan Toney managed to get infront of Calvert lewin or even Danny Welbeck, who has had a cracking end to the domestic season. There is not enough depth and class to the team from what i can see, so unfortunately we'll be lucky in my opinion to go much further than the group stages. I hope I'm wrong. ⚽️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I have a Crow come and assist our big lad with his breakfast in a morning, I call him Jim because I used to work with a chap named Jimmy Crow many moons ago. Insistent little chap, doesn't take no for an answer. Think we'll be bringing these home if Mrs P gets her way. She thinks they are ideal for the kitchen, not. 🥴

Happy Birthday @Chris hope you enjoyed the day. Nice to know there is another ageing person in the same month as myself, mine is on the 24th commonly known as Commonwealth Day. Sixty nine years young, where has the time gone. 🕰 😟

I totally agree with @Robbie the two games against Chesterfield were a catalyst for us to take with us to Wembley and give every ounce of fight, controlled aggression and passing accuracy, the real Notts County. Then there will only be one winner 🏆 COYP.

Today in Agadir we have the dreaded mist, with the Sun only showing his face every now and again. Not to worry though it's still warm. Mrs P and myself had a walk out earlier and @Fan of Big Tone you would of been proud of us, 8,657 steps. Not in your league though but trying. I made an executive decision though (probably for the first time ever) seeing as there was no sun, we should chance sitting under the reception lighting for a while and see what happens 😀

Looked at the news earlier and saw nothing but conflict, hence the poem. Growing Humanity When I look i don't see colour or creed, The same as God who planted the seed. A human being through and through, I'm truly referring to me and to you. Personality, stature, will and smile, Makes you and i stand out a mile. What a gorgeous morning for walking, saw a couple of Magpies on my travels along the promenade, and this :- Translated it says God, Country, King. Didn't realise that the King was third in the pecking order 🤔 Have a great day whatever you are up to.

Thanks @Fan of Big Tone the place is a Palace and very clean 👌 This is one of the quiet area's near reception. Here you can relax with either a hot drink or one of the cold variety. The sky is once again totally clear and is calling, so off we go for the arduous task of colouring the body, such hard work 😎

We surprised on of the Jet2 reps who i had kept in touch with since last year, but didn't tell him we were coming 🤫 once our baggage had been retreaved we made our way to the Jet2 desk, and guess who was there Walid who we had met last year, the look on his face was a picture. Now through his kindness we have a room you can hold a dance in. They are right when it is said "it's not what you know, it's who you know" happy days ahead me thinks. Well @Fan of Big Tone decisions, decisions and a big one at that. Trust me when I say the experience itself is phenomenal. We took our grand children to the play off against Chesterfield and the memories made were irreplaceable, buying flags and scarves, walking down Wembley Way with both sets of fans, each trying to out sing each other, giving the kids time to take it all in, The excitement on their faces will stick with us forever. The only thing i will say is if it's a match like the Chesterfield one prepare to be totally exhausted, that much so I couldn't drive home so we had a second night in the hotel. 😵‍💫

Congratulations @Fan of Big Tone wear it with pride. What a roller coaster of emotions last night and what a fantastic crowd, absolutely brilliant to be part of the journey. Wembley, bring it on. Lovely morning today, horses to feed etc, a little thing called packing to finish ready for tomorrow. Sorry to be missing the final, but we will watch it, one way or another. Happy days ahead me thinks.

I totally agree with you @Fan of Big Tone no surprise because such a game warrants a sell out crowd. Myself, Mrs P and our Son Matthew will be adorning the lower middle area of the Derek Pavis stand. Couldn't tackle the steps myself, might make a suggestion that Notts install a stair lift for the older fans benefit 🤣 then the possibility of a waiter/waitress to sell mixed goodies and drinks for half time so you don't have to move. 🤠👍 Also change the seats to ones that can be warmed up if required, with a little padding on request, happy days 😀

A little chilly here at the stables this morning, but the sun popping in and out compensates somewhat. 🥶 seems to be warming up at the moment, quiet before the storm me thinks 🤔 Lovely picture once again @Piethagoram of Bratislava Castle looking very baronial, thank you. Today is a day helping a very good friend who lost her dad in an explosion at the weekend, then two nights later the bungalow was ransacked by mindless thieves. Talk about kicking you when you are down. I am going to arrange the demolition of the Workshop, removal of several propane and couple of other cylinders, then secure the property where necessary. That's me for the day.

Top Man @Chris the amount of work and care you have dedicated to the site is personally mind blowing. Your thoughtfulness and consideration dovetailing with family time and County time is admirable and commendable. A very cold and wet good morning from the paddock. I'm glad that by watching the weather forecast i have the appropriate attire on today, namely hat and waterproof coat. 🤠🌧 What a wonderful sight as I poo picked the big lads paddock, to be able to see and appreciate such beauty is absolutely fantastic, how grateful I am to be in a position to do so. @Piethagoram thank you for your array of stunning photos, I must admit I look forward to where we are going to see next. Once again thank you 😊 Nice to hear @allardyces tash that you and your colleagues enjoyed a tipple on the way home, that's one thing that I miss having now retired 😢 Lovely to hear that @fanofbigtone you are almost there, i hope that the treatment does its job and you will be free as a bird. 👍

@Chris i am glad to see everything is on the up for yourself and your family. What with the Skeggy trip and now looking to shed a pound or two in the future, you'll be running a marathon next.😂 we were in Skeg Vagas over the bank holiday with our two youngest grandchildren and had a super time. @Fan of Big Tone i hope the hospital visit went well and everything is all clear. Today i have had to take Mrs P to work, then Chase our grandson to school then over to Selston so I could organise some demolition for a very good friend who lost her father in an explosion the other day, as her and her mum will not move back until everything has gone. Some kind person/people have ransacked the house while they are not there. Then off to the stables to feed and see to the horses. Back home and quiet until Mrs P's dad turns up for a cuppa and stopped for a couple of hours. 😵‍💫 He knows where every road is in this country and their letters and numbers, so when he talks about a route to or from a specific area you will know every road to take and the direction you are travelling, bless him. Now I am ready for a rest, please 🙏
