Match Discussion: League Two - Crewe Alexandra (A)
Same old same old against Crewe, given the win by an inconsistent supposed Premiership referee. Say no more.

Who is your Man of the Match v Crawley?
Scott Robertson by a mile, his tenacity coupled with non stop energy and that wonderful goal ensured a positive outcome throughout. As a collective we never stopped from start to finish with good performances from Macdonald, Palmer and Hall when he came on. Great ethics obviously provided by Martin Patterson and his team, giving us a platform from which we can now build on and make progress going forward. Hopefully we can take this into the game against Crewe next week.

Poetic Pies
Something to be very proud of Chris, bathing the soul like a gentle kiss. Inclusive of all a wonderful gesture, paying your tribute a real mister. Old, young and those who have gone, knowing for sure you're never alone. The beautiful game so lucky to see, all together forever with you and me. Classic words written from the heart, remembering Kimbo for her part. Thank-you mate for reminding us all, football isn't just about kicking a ball.

Should Notts Hold On To Their Footballing Principles?
@Robbie @Wheelbarrow repair man @McPie gentlemen of the same ilk and hitting the proverbial nail on the head. Notts are renowned for their possession based, entertaining football and long may it last. There sure needs to be more emphasis on a tougher approach without losing sight of our principles, with eyes open during the January window to at least give all a pick me up. What's done is done for now and my thoughts are that keeping robust at the back, diligent in the middle of the pitch with more aggressive movement up front, coupled with positive work ethics will see us through to the new year. Let us look at learning lessons from our little misdemeanours and getting back on track looking forward only. COYP.

@Fan of Big Tone, hope the removal goes nicely, PARDON 👂 Sorry to mention but the weather here in Dubai is lovely and sunny, about 32 degrees at the moment. Just finished a very nice breakfast and now time for some of that 🌞 I hope everyone is ok after a traumatised weekend, throwing away points again. Next up Crawley Town, chins up and let's go again. 😃 COYP

Weekly Chat Monday 8th to Sunday 14th September
Hello to all you wonderful Pies from sunny Dubai. I had the best of all days yesterday (Tuesday the 9th) as I went into the giant Aquarium scuba diving with 9 different types of Shark (a couple of Big ones at that) and a plethora of rays, morey and electric eels, tuna and loads of other ones too many to count. I was totally overwhelmed with not only the amount of creatures but the size of the tank, enormous. One of the best 30 minutes of my life. 🐠🐡🐟🦭🐬🐋🦈

Match Discussion: EFL Trophy - Lincoln City (A)
I thought Scott Robertson had a good game, although a little overwhelmed at times by the quantity of Lincoln players surrounding him, just like the alamo. Alot of positives can be taken, as mentioned by @Robbie utilising Academy and fringe players to give them opportunity and giving players coming back from injury game time.

Also Mrs P hits the big 60 on the 21st and celebrations are now being prepared by our two sons, therefore another 3 points would be adding to the already prepared knee's up. 🥳👌⚽️ Then return to normality on the 22nd, where does time go?

Weekly Chat - Monday 25th to Sunday 31st August
A lovely weekend had with our two young granddaughters in Mablethorpe, not a raindrop in sight and a climax of pure blue sky yesterday. I also have had varifocals for the last few years and as @Robbie says, they don't take too long to get used to, and once that takes place you don't realise when wearing them and they become part of you. So @Fan of Big Tone dive in with open eyes. Back to work today (only for 4 days though) soon be the weekend. Then 5 days until Dubai for an 11 night break, can't wait. Will have to get a move on after the Fleetwood game to get to Heathrow Airport though and bed down for the night. Have a good day everyone. 😀

Weekly Chat - Monday 18th to Sunday 24th August
All the best with the job interview @CliftonMagpie routine is something we can't do without. It's instilled into us from day one, for me it's an important part of my life, couldn't function without it. Having routine really helps where mental health is concerned also, easing day to day woes and worries. That is one reason I am still working at 68, it gives me a purpose which in turn schedules the day in advance making everything routine.

Match Discussion: League Two - Shrewsbury Town (A)
As they say, you can only play the team that's in front of you. Last evening I think everyone was apprehensive regarding playing the Shrews. But have no fear we did what we had to do and allayed all our fears. I think we are now starting to see results that Martin is striving for, the fitness, players gelling with each other and the football getting close to the Notts County we know and love. Do not be mislead though it was far from perfect but definitely looking better. I think that Bromley will give a more accurate idea of where we are at this moment in time. Well done everyone for getting our chins off the floor and cheering voices up a notch. COYP.
