  1. League 2 table after today's match tonight Notts still in 2nd place on goal difference, but that could change after Saturday's games.
  2. In my opinion, four players stood out from the rest tonight for Notts. My four choices are George Abbott, Matt Palmer, Jacob Bedeau & Rod McDonald. Out of those four my choice for Man of the Match is Rod McDonald, who I thought played pretty well.
  3. A dissapointing result tonight after Notts played well in the first half & could easily have been 3:0 up by half time. A soft goal conceded late in the match was the deciding goal. The match seemed to mirror the match against Vale at Meadow Lane. I have chosen the 11 players that started the match for Notts. Can you choose one for Man of the Match & tell us why you chose that player? Those players are :- Bass, Gordon, McDonald, Bedeau, Platt, Grant, Palmer, Edwards, Johnson, Jatta, Abbott.
  4. Update. Defeat tonight. It's a big setback but we move on. Seven games since last defeat, you've got to score goals when you are on top. It was a soft goal that decided the game and it's the home team that has got it." - Mark Stallard
  5. Update. Update. Goal to Port Vale. Not long after substitutions again. Talk about smash and grab. We've said that Port Vale have been the better team this half.... Notts have been poor but that is a soft goal to concede , so important in the game." - Mark Stallard.
  6. Stuart has announced his team to face Port Vale. Traore on the bench. No Whitaker, Didzy or Jodi.
  7. It's Matchday. CMON U PIES
  8. Matty Platt has been a rock in the Notts defence this season. He has also been one of the most consistent players too. He has struck up such a great partnership with Jacob Bedeau Lewis Macari, Rob McDonald & Lucas Ness before he became injured All five have been a big part of the reason why Notts have 12 clean sheets so far this season. It's going to be a tough match against Portugal Vale, but we can go into that game with lots of confidence with Matty Platt & his colleagues at the back.
  9. Preview of the match from Port Vale's point of view. Match Preview | Port Vale vs Notts County | Port Vale FC WWW.PORT-VALE.CO.UK We return to Vale Park on Thursday night as we take on Notts County in front of...
  10. I think this could be a very good appointment by Derby. I hope that John Eustace can turn around the Derby fortunes & pull them away from the relegation area. It will be tough with just 14 games to go, but I do wish him well. Derby are a top club who should be challenging for the PL.

  14. Twelve clean sheets already this season is a testament to how the team have improved since last season. Lots of credit has to be given to Stuart Maynard, his coaching staff & his team. The fact that the team has continued to show good form despite the injuries demonstrates that Stuart's squad is strong & ready to face the challenges that await it in the remaining games . As we await news about the fitness of Didzy & Jodi, there are players that Stuart can call on in confidence to take their place and give a good account of themselves against Port Vale.
  15. Graph that shows how the Notts goals are being scored. Nice to see that set piece goals are up to 17% of the total goals scored. Type. Goals. Effect
