Good evening all not much going on here today, but I see Forest have been dumped out of the FA Cup tonight by our old enemy Wrexham. Things go from bad to worse for the Forest owner. What's the betting them having a new Head Coach before the season ends.

I would always sit-down at my age , but I think safe standing is a good idea for the youngsters. I am a bit confused why it's not cheaper to stand rather than sit. . I think the Club should look at that maybe next season. Sorry I can't answer you question though @DangerousSausage but I'm sure there are some PON members who can.

I do think that sustainability is important to keep a reign on the purse strings, but I would like to see the owners consider inviting further investment into the club by a third party. I would prefer Notts present owners to retain a majority shareholding, but to get out of League 2 & maintain a place in League 1, more finance is going to be needed to compete with other clubs in this day and age.

Sorry about your loss @DangerousSausage We have also experienced bereavement towards the backend of 2025, My last living Aunt, who was married to my Father's youngest brother died, & one of my cousins lost her husband too.

I agree with @theAnticlough that the extra recovery time that the postponement of the Oldham game gives Palmer & the other injured players could prove vital, & if Notts can recruit some players in the meantime it would be a big positive too.

There's always a risk that a parent club will recall a loan player. Notts did the same with Jack Hinchy just a few weeks ago. Signing loan players is a risk. I can remember last season Walsall lost a loan player last season that turned out affecting their promotion hopes. I do hope that we are going to get some positive news soon on a good acquisition that will strengthen the Notts squad.

Sorry to read you are not feeling well @super_ram Now that I have become older I feel the cold. Even though our heating is on I've been wearing a fleece even in the hose since the cold spell started. Even when I go out briefly to take out the recycle & garbage I put a winter coat on and hat. I will always ensure that I'm wrapped up well. I recommend it.

Pleased for the young lad but his acquisition is obviously for the future & he most probably hasn't been recruited to immediately strengthen the squad. Looking forward to seeing that happen.
