In contrast, Denmark drew all their three matches and qualified & qualified 2nd to England in the group. Germany will be big favourites tonight.

England may have won their group, but they have stuttered through the games they played & flattered to deceive as they really struggled to show any cohesion in those three games. So the first game today which kicks off at 5 pm BST is Switzerland v Italy. Switzerland have shown some good form getting a draw against Germany, winning against Hungary & drawing against Scotland in their group, to finish 2nd in their group to Germany. Meanwhile Italy came 2nd in their group behind Spain, winning one, drawing one, and losing one of their three group games. Italy's form has been patchy, but you can never right them off in knockout games. The winner of this game is scheduled to play the winner of England v Slovakia in one of the Quarter finals.

@Wheelbarrow repair man It always fascinated me why they include Lady Jane Grey in the list of Monarchs of England, but she is never referred to as Queen Jane, she wasn't crowned, but she was proclaimed Queen by the Privy Council & ruled for nine days till she was deposed by Mary, daughter of Henry VIII. Edward VIII was never crowned but he is still referred to as King Edward VIII.

@Wheelbarrow repair man Possible reason for the silence? Season ticket sales. Maybe by making him captain they wanted to boost season ticket sales too. There's been a big push for season ticket sales during the last week before the cheaper renewal deadline expires. I wonder if the sales are behind last year's figures.Notts need to be open and honest with supporters if Macca is on the point of going.

@Wheelbarrow repair man These richer clubs are sniffing around trying to entice Macca. No matter how well off a club is like Notts, there will always be a richer club trying to plunder a lesser club's assets. I really believe Notts should be making a statement to end all the speculation regarding Macca, and make it clear he is staying. I don't like the silence from Notts at all

I would have thought that having a Season ticket would allow free admission 7 days a week except admission to a special event. For non season ticket holders, having a match ticket should grant free admission on match days to Notts Supporters only If That's not the case, it will be dissapointing.
