The point is, are Notts going to treat the Cups seriously under Maynard or not, that is the question? I hope they do because Notts can earn some good money from a reasonable Cup run.

It looks fantastic. With everything that Notts are doing on and off the pitch at the moment, they are doing it superbly, from the player signings, the PL standard pitch, the Nest, and the hi tech. I can't fault Notts at all for what they are doing to improve all aspects of the club.

The players look really happy to be back for preseason training., They have much to be happy about. Six new quality players joining them. A squad to challenge the best teams in the league.

@Wheelbarrow repair man If England don't make the final, or alternatively, go out of the tournament again Slovakia or the quarter finals, Southgate will go. If England go out, I believe that there would be so much pressure build against him from the fans, pundits and the press that him remaining in the job would become untenable. I will also, highly suspect that some of the older players like Kane will have played their last match for England too. So my take on it is that England will be forced to pull their socks up for the Slovakia match or else we may see quite a few changes to the England set up in the next few months.

Curtis Edwards is another brilliant signing for Notts and he is going to give Notts plenty of options in different areas of midfield. He has plenty of experience in Europe playing for European Club sides and has played against some of the top teams in Europe too. Notts are continuing to build a strong squad, after identifying the areas that needed strengthening, and Curtis will add to the Notts overall squad strength. We have seen six additions of the Notts squad over the last few weeks and there is going to be plenty of competition for places, especially in the midfield area, where Curtis will operate. It is also so pleasing that players want to come and play for our famous old club, and it is great to see each of our new players enthusiasm for their new club coming through in their interviews.
