My top four stand outs for Notts are McDonald, who was solid once again, Robertson who is putting together some consistent performances, Jatta, who was a handful for Swindon tonight, & Grant who I thought played one of his better matches for Notts tonight. I'm going for Conor Grant because he scored the goal & made an assist, & could easily have scored another with a bit more luck. I also thought he did exactly what Martin wanted from him tonight.

It turned out to be a good move by Martin Paterson to pick Conor Grant instead of Tom Iorpenda. i think that Grant had one of his best performances of the season & it was a pity his efforts didn't give Notts the win on the night. Grant scoring a goal & providing an assist is sure to give him some confidence going forward. As I mentioned at the final whistle, I am satisfied with a point. Four points out of a possible six in two tough away games is very promising. Martin might not show it, but I'm sure he will be happy, to keep the unbeaten run going. It will be another tough game against Cambridge at ML on Saturday, but a win against another tough side would send a big message to the rest of the Clubs in Division.
