Mrs R has been busy today changing our house summer theme into an Autumn theme. We deck our living room and bedroom themes by the seasons & she has a Christmas theme too. The autumn theme includes a small Halloween theme too with immitation autumn leaves around both rooms. The pillow cases have a autumn theme too. It's something that we always look forward to when the seasons change.

His passing is a big loss for the World of Cricket. One of the great Characters, he will be sadly missed. RIP Dickie Bird.

Rod McDonald has done very well since he came in. Incidentally, this season he already has 2 PON Man of the Match awards to his name, so he has been recognised by PON members for his performances in the Notts defence. It is so important to have a mean defence in League 2 & I do think with the defensive players we have available, Notts are in a very good place. McDonald, Bedeau, Macari, Aljofree, Ness & Platt can only get better, and with Palmer, Robertson, Norburn, & Iorpenda in front of them the prospects for Notts are very encouraging. I think it will be difficult for Paterson to drop Rod the way he's playing right now

It's been a poor year for our apple trees. The apples didn't grow very well this year. Also the lawn was cut & the garden furniture put away in the shed. Garden looks nice and tidy.

@liampie It was brilliant performance by the Notts team against one of the top teams in the Division. On another day they might have even won the match with the chances they created. Unfortunately the Boldmere defence stood firm, however the ladies can take heart from this match. The Notts team have certainly improved from last season, & will hope to finish in the top five when th season ends.
