Match Discussion: PSF - The Minstermen (A)
Once Again the Notts Defenders instead of Tackling the Opposition they run along side or away from them. Echo's of Last Season? Hasn't Anything Been Learned? It's No Good being on Top for 80 minutes as in Germany or 45 minutes like Today. Matches are for 90+ minutes. Another thing I have noticed about those two Matches, once a Goal Against Notts goes in Heads Drop and the Magpies become More Vulnerable to another Goal. Where's the Leadership on the Pitch? Oh of course He's Now Coaching in Sheffield.

Sorry to Sound Negative, but Questions about Stuart Maynard are going to Start being asked Again. I Agree with You @RobbieNotts should be Winning Matches like this and Victories Build Confidence within the Team and Belief Amongst the Fans. As you say @Fan of Big Tone Dan Crowley coming off is a Big Worry, lets hope it's just as a Precaution and he'll soon be Back. Because if he is injured with both him and Matt Palmer unavailable, for the Start of the Season, Notts are going to Start off on the Back Foot.

2-0 up with a Staring Line Up being Considered for the Start of the New Season and a National League Team Pull Notts back to 2-2. Good Grief. Jatta scored again which is a Positive.

John Bostock joins Solihull Moors
One Hell of a Signing for Solihull Moors. The Experience John will bring to the team will be an Massive Help in their Attempt to get into the EFL. I also wonder if John will go for his Coaching Badges, while he's there? Good Luck John and All The Best.

Macca's First goal for Millwall will come Sure as Eggs is Eggs. Wouldn't Surprise Me if it was a Double either.

Chris & Alex Reedtz: Five Years In Charge
Five Years, where as the Time Gone? From the Grim Darkness and Hardship of the Alan Hardy Era, the Brothers Certainly have taken Notts back into the Sunlight. Their Ownership of the Club has Brought Faith and Hope and Financial Stability . Thank You Chris & Alex.

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
The More I think about it, the more I'm Convinced there's something more to Macca's Move, than is being Told to the Fans. What that is ? I Don't Know But Something Doesn't Seem Right. Then Again Fans Will Only Be Told What They Need To Know. @Piethagoram And yet in a Statement The Fans Were Told. Notts Don't Need To Sell Players And Have A Budget To Cover Playing In League 1 and Perhaps the Lower Half Of The Championship. It Would Appear That The Budget Has Been Either Wrongly Calculated Or The Purchase Of The Nest Site And The Laying Of a Premier League Playing Surface at the Lane, Have Cost More Than First Estimated.

Just Out Of Curiosity
A Nice Simple Question. Just Out Of Curiosity. Who In Your Opinion Is The Best Notts Coach Of The 21st Century ? Two Come To My Mind Martin "Mad Dog" Allen And Steve Cotterill.

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
The thing about signing a New Striker is they cost Money and if the Club do sign another Striker don't be Surprised if he comes from Abroad. Then again the Club might ask Les Bradd to make a comeback????

Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
I wish Junior all the Best at Dagenham & Red Bridge, he'll get more Game Time there than at the Lane. It wouldn't Surprise me if the loan is made Permanent come January. He never seemed to get the Rub of the Green at Notts . What with Macca and Didzy up front then the arrival of Jatta pushed him further down the Pecking Order, he never seemed to been given the Chance by Luke Williams or Stuart Maynard to try and establish himself in the Starting XI.

Help Wanted
As We Fans of Lower League Clubs continue to look on as another League 2 or National League Club face Financial Problems or Administration ( problems that we Fans of Notts are Familiar with in the Club's Past). Help Is Wanted. Now I'm Not a Finance Expert Just an Ordinary Fan who has ideas which May Help Clubs they are Not a Cure for a Club's Debts or Any Other Problems They May Have. This Topic is Just Food For Thought. Firstly Any Club with Financial Worries shouldn't have the Added Burden of the EFL Slapping a 10 Point Deduction on them, should they manage to get they Finances in Order before the Start of the Following or Current Season. It Makes No Sense and Just Puts More Pressure on a Club. The EFL Need to Work with a Financial Company who can produce a Blue Print to help Struggling Clubs with Such Things has Players and Staff wages, Stadium Rental Etc and Produce a Budget which the Club must Stick Rigidly Too. It would also be a Huge Gesture and Financial Help, if a Top Premier League Team would Play a Match against a Struggling Club All Star XI. By that I mean take Manchester City 's Team Full of all their Star Players (Haarland Foden etc) and Play Woking (who have been the Latest Club with money Troubles), the Woking Team would be Thrashed I hear you say. Ah Yes but what if the Woking Team also had Premier League Stars in their side? Say 8 Stars and 3 Woking players in the Line Up, who could be subbed during the game by their Team mates, so all the Woking players got a Chance to play With and Against Premier League Players and Michael Doyle could pitch his wits against Pep. All the Premier Players will offer their Services Free and all Money Raised would go into the Woking Club Coffers. Just a Couple of Ideas from Me. Do any other PON Members have Ideas that Could Help Clubs in Trouble?

Match Discussion: PSF - The Minstermen (A)
It's a Shame Notts couldn't have held on to Macca till this Match and Show York City What They Let Go. Full Agreement @Robbie It is time Maynard put out the Team he's Seriously thinking about Starting the New Season with. Something I Thought He Should Have Done Germany. That's Why I said Stuart Maynard. I'm Still Not Sure.

@Robbie Just Wishful Thinking On My Part.
-
Macaulay Langstaff Watch.
If that is the Case @Robbie, I don't understand why they bought him. Why pay money for a Player with Macca's Goal Scoring Talent only to leave him on The Bench. Loan him Out? Now there's an Idea, if he's not doing well at the Den. They can always loan back out to Notts, where he'll score Goals and Get his Confidence Back.
-

@Robbie You're Not Wrong regarding the Fact that Macca had many talented Players around him at Notts. And that is what Millwall need to Do, Feed Him and the Goals will Come. The thing is will Macca's new Club change their style of play just for him? Macca I think we have to Adapt to their Style and that may take time, and if he Doesn't Perform well how long will it be before the Fans start getting on his Back? I know Macca says he Doesn't Set Himself Goal Targets during a Season. The thing is will the Lions Head Coach expect a certain amount of Goals from Him? I think as a bare Minimum they'll expect him to get into Double Figures and look to him getting 15-20 goals all Told. I really hope Macca succeeds but Only Time Will Tell.
-
Macaulay Langstaff Watch.
@Robbie That is the Main Problem Macca is going to have, establishing himself as Regular Starter for Millwall, and the way he'll Do That is by Scoring Goals. However if Millwall want Macca to Score Goals (and that's why they bought him) They are going to have to Play to his Strengths. How many times in the Past have we seen Strikers arrive with a Fanfare at a New Club only to Fail Miserably because his New Team didn't Play to his Strengths. Maybe It was Part of the Deal, that if Macca failed at Millwall, Notts Could Buy Him Back?

Notts County Membership
@Robbie So the Club are charging Fans an Entrance Fee to go into the Nest on Matchday? I seemed to have missed that announcement. Like you I may have to Pick and Choose my Matches this season, there's a Chance our Family are going to Move so Football will have to take a back seat. At Least for this season.

The future of my YouTube channel
I've watch a fair Few of your Video's and enjoyed them you Strike me as a an Ordinary Fan who wants to get his thoughts and Feelings across about his Favourite Team. Your Straight Forward Nothing Fancy just giving an Honest Opinion. I Like That. Regarding your You tube Channel I Think that as to be Your Choice and Yours Alone. Because if it's an Over whelming Yes Carry on from members on this site and you Carry on, but Don't Enjoy it, you may find you shift the Blame onto your Fellow Fans and that's No Good at all. Maybe step back from You tube for a season or half a season, see how you feel, if it doesn't bother you and you feel happier without the Burden of putting the video's out there, then Quit. However if you watch a Match and feel the Urge that you need to Express your opinion on Certain Issues and you put out a video which is well received you may want to give You tube another Go. It's Really Up To You Mate.

Notts County Academy Watch.
Major Talent Will Always Shine Through. The Trouble is if Notts did Unearth a Future Super Star, you can Guarantee he wouldn't be at the Lane Long before the Big Clubs come sniffing Round. Because as You have said in the Past @Robbie Big Clubs don't want to Nurture their own Talent they just Want To Buy It from another Club. Some Players are late Bloomers Look at Macca he was released by York City and spent a few years Kicking Around the Lower Leagues (was it at the 7th Level? ) He was given his chance by Gateshead, then Notts took him On and the Rest as they Say Is History. The Annoying thing is there might be a Hidden Talent in the Notts Academy, But because of the Attitude Notts have appeared to have Taken the Magpies will never get any Benefit from that Player, because they won't give him a Run in the First team, to see how he develops. After a Couple of years being Loaned out by Notts, he could move on and another Club, who are Prepared to take a Risk on playing him could Gain a Hugh Transfer Fee for Him., when that Money could have benefitted Notts instead of the Kids New Team. Look at Tiernan Brookes if he goes on to have an Excellent Season at Gateshead and he catches the Eye of Some Scout from Higher Up the Footballing Pyramid, and Gateshead sell Him they Get the Double Benefit of him having played for them and then get the financial Reward when the Sell Him.

Notts County Academy Watch.
This Seems a Little Strange the Academy having Matches While the First Team Squad Is Away. Surely it would Have Been Better, For Stuart And His Coaching Staff being there to Run An Eye Over Notts Up And Coming Talent? Oh Silly Me. The Reason For These Matches Is Well, We Can Sell Him, Sell Him And Sell Him. Because It Seems Notts Don't Want To Promote Their Own Talent Into The First Team Squad At Some Future Date.

Jokers Wild: Joke Of The Day.
This Old Girl dies and goes to heaven. She's met by St Peter at the Pearly Gates. Name? asks Pete. Mary Smith. I've come to join my husband John Smith. Lady have you any idea how many John Smith's we've got up here? I need more than that. Well says the Old Girl. My husband said if I was ever unfaithful to his memory. He'd turn in his Grave. Ah You mean Spinning John Smith.

Macaulay Langstaff Heads to Millwall in Landmark Transfer
£750,000. You're having a Laugh. Who ever Negotiated that Deal want's FIRING. That's all it took to Sell a Goal Machine like Macca? It was rumoured last season he was worth at least £1.5 million. So much for It will take a exceptional offer to coax Macca away from the Lane, So Much for We don't need to Sell Players Eh? Richard Montague. Why is everything Hush Hush? Why Not tell the Fans the Details of Macca's Transfer? It will come out eventually anyway, so why Not Tell Us Now? So we Fans can understand why he's been Sold at a Lowly Price. Honestly we Fans are treated as if we're Stupid. Am I Pi**ed Off You Betcha Regarding Macca himself a Footballer's Career is a Short one and can easily be stopped by an injury. Going on to Better things I Don't think it could have happened to a Nicer Guy. Macca I Sincerely Hope you go on to Break even more Records and hopefully you find yourself playing in the Premier League One Day. You were a Star At The Lane, You'll Always Have A Place in Every Notts Fans Heart. You Sir Are A Legend, and May all Good Things Come Your Way. MACCA LONGSTAFF - HE'S ONE OF OUR OWN.
