  1. @DeadlyMacca It's Pronounced PU -SEY. Not P***Y. There used to be to Liverpool Brothers Chris and Geoff who used to Ride Speedway with the same Surname.
  2. @DeadlyMacca It would seem ever since the Glaziers took over, United have been on the Slippery Slope Downwards, with the occasional Bright moment. The Appointment of Jim Ratcliffe doesn't seem to have had the desired effect either. How long before we see another Fans revolt against the current Owners?
  3. Great. But he should be made to serve the full 11 years and Not let out after a couple of years, because he's Sorry and has learned the Errors of his ways and it won't Happen again.
  4. What do Man Utd Expect? They spend silly money on Transfers, it seems every player who becomes available is a Target for them. They've given Kobbie Mainoo a new contract quadrupling his weekly wage, Erik Ten Haag isn't going to come cheap, when they finally get round to offering him an improved contract. Old Trafford is Falling Apart and the ordinary worker is the one who's going to find themselves Out Of A Job.
  5. @Robbie Unfortunately I also have a clear memory of that match. In fact I don't think Peter Bonetti ever played for England Again. I know Bobby Charlton said in his Autobiography on the flight back home from Mexico, Alf Ramsey came and sat with him and said Thankyou for all your efforts for England. He said I knew then my England career was over. Another Quote about the same match came from Franz Beckenbauer the German Captain. England were 2-0 at half time and Ramsey took Bobby Charlton off, to rest him for the Semi Final. We couldn't believe it Charlton was running everything in Mid Field and England take their Best Player Off, this gave us the advantage and determination to go on and Win The Match. Which they Did.
  6. There are Fair Points regarding both Liking and Disliking the New Kit. When I First saw it I was a Fan (I still am) but I can see why some Fans Prefer the Traditional Black and White Stripes, but I think the New Design is Aimed at the Younger Generation of Notts Fans, as they are more likely to Buy one of the New Shirts. We Older Fans (Yes I Count myself as one) Tend to buy a Shirt we Like and Stick with it. The Different Array of Notts Shirts on display down the Lane confirms that. I might have considered buying one, but I Just Do Not Like The Sponsors Red &White Logo plastered across the Front.
  7. @Chris Peter Bonetti the Chelsea Keeper was Called the Cat. He took over from Gordon Banks in the 1970 World Cup Quarter Final against West Germany in Mexico after Banks was unable to play because of Illness. He also took a lot of stick from the English Press because the Germans beat England 3-2 after being 2-0 down. Is that the Guy you're thinking of?
  8. It was a very Good Save. But Not A Patch on Banks Stop. The Baumgartner Header wasn't as Powerful as Pele's, plus the fact Gordon had to move across his goal and Get Down on to the floor to scoop the Ball Over The Bar. I Don't Know What a Load Of Hype. @Fan of Big Tone It's has you say regarding the aftermath of Gordon's Save there's No Hugging or Posturing from Banks or his team Mates. He just gets on with his Job.
  9. I Enjoy History and Just lately I've Started Looking At My Family History. It's Amazing What you find out about your Ancestors. My Great Grandad got his First Job, When He Was 10 Tears Old. He was a Wringer Out, For A One Armed Window Cleaner.
  10. @liampie How True Your Words Are. How Very True.
  11. @CliftonMagpie I think I'd Sooner Look Like Steve Maclaren under an Umbrella, Than Rishi telling the Country He's calling An Election.????
  12. @allardyces tash I Think that People are just Fed Up with Apologies . Somebody ( no matter who, Footballer, Politician, Celebrities) who does Something Wrong or Says Something Wrong, If They Say Sorry Then That Makes Everything Alright. But In Some Cases It Doesn't. Bellingham will probably Get a Hefty Fine and No Ban. It was just stated on the B.B.C. Website He Could Get Fined and Banned.
  13. Attractive Football Yeah Right. But We Live In Hope.
  14. You'll hear worse from the Stands .That's as maybe But if someone is using foul Language, a quick word from you, would hopefully deter any repeat. And sure Kids will hear worse, but that's Not The Point. The Point is Bellingham made the Gesture towards the Slovakia Bench and UEFA are looking into it regarding Rules they have Laid Down and if he's Deemed to have Broken those Rules, He will be Punished and Rightly So it Doesn't matter if he's a Young Lad or Not ( His Age Is Not an Excuse) he is Old Enough To Know Better. Just by Scoring the Goal should have been Enough To Get His Point Across.
  15. The Wife comes in from shopping the other day Look what I've bought she says. Flashing a Ring with a Large stone in it. What's that ? I asked That's a Mood Ring. So what happens is when she's in a Good Mood the Stone turns Blue When she's in a Relaxed Mood the Stone turns Green But when She's in Bad Mood. It leaves a Big Red Mark in the Middle of me Forehead.
  16. @Super_Danny_Allsopp So you'd be OK if a Notts Or Any Other Player did that in front of Kids at Meadow Lane? At 21 Bellingham is Classed as An Adult. So He Should Act Like One.
  17. Bellingham's gesture will get more Media Focus Because of who he is, did Declan Rice Complain about the Slovak Manager pushing him? Christian Ronaldo also made the same Gesture as Bellingham in a Saudi Pro League Match and he got away with just being Fined. Bellingham also said it was Nice To Throw It Back regarding the Remarks from his Critics. He Should Be Mature Enough to Ignore those Critics and Rise above their Remarks. Because it's always been the British Media's way to Build a Player Up Put him on a Pedestal Then Knock Him Off It . That's been their Way For Years.
  18. Latest from the England Camp. UEFA are looking at a gesture made by Jude Bellingham. Apparently he Grabbed his Crutch in Front of the Slovakia Bench after his Late equalizer in the England vs Slovakia Game. According to him it was an inside Joke aimed at some friends who were in the Crowd. However this isn't the First time he's made the Gesture and if found Guilty he could end up being Fined and Banned. For Pity's sake Grow Up Bellingham, You're supposed to be a Role Model for young Kids. Not only have You Let Yourself Down England Down, But Those Who Look Up To You. Hang Your Head In Shame.
  19. The Pennines are called the Backbone of Britain, So We All Know What That Makes London.
  20. The Only Thing That Remains Is A Good Season On The Pitch.
  21. You Do Realise That Due To The Shirts Appearance The Notts Players Will Now Have To Learn The Hakka !!????
  22. @Fan of Big Tone Elation And Relief I Shouldn't Wonder, just the Spur of the Moment Thing. But You Know the way the Gutter Press react Now Days. Seeing something like that they'll Build It Up Into Something It Wasn't.
  23. Ok How Do You Know When It's Raining Cats and Dogs? The Ground is covered in Poodles.
  24. @Chris You Too? I get Strange Pictures in my Head as well. I'm sure Glad I Ain't The Only One????
