Notts waiver of loan from Football Radar
It is normal for one company to help the money side of another, especially if the first company is doing well. The owners have given up the money, and even if it came from Football Radar, it is still their choice to do that. I learned about profit sharing in business studies and it is useful to understand. The club has put out a full announcement about it here. https://www.nottscountyfc.co.uk/news/2025/september/26/statement--financial-accounts/

Weekly Chat Monday 22nd to Sunday 28th September
I’ve not had much time for the site because of school. I’m hoping to join in more this week, but it depends on homework and other stuff I can’t control. Saturday’s win was great. It’s been ages since I saw us score four goals in one match. If the weather’s nice, I might see if The Nest is showing the Crewe game. I’ll try to get a relative to take me so I can watch it.

Rod McDonald’s Form: Too Good to Drop?
Rod McDonald is doing really well at the moment, but good form doesn’t always last. Any player can have a bad patch or be swapped out if someone else is doing better. I think he’s a great defender and we’ve got strong choices in the middle. I hope he keeps playing well, but I also think Matty Platt is brilliant. We just need everyone at the back to stay solid.

Who is your Man of the Match v Crawley?
The team played really well together and I liked how everyone tried their best. I hoped Jodi would do something exciting, but he’s only just come back from playing for his country. He looked a bit tired and got really annoyed during the Gillingham match, even though he was the one who looked most likely to score. Scott Robertson was brilliant all game. He didn’t mess up and kept things calm. I think if Jayden Luker had come on earlier, more fans might have voted for him. He’s really good too. But I get why people picked Robertson — he was solid from start to finish.

Martin Paterson Targets Fifth Unbeaten Game as Notts County Prepare for Gillingham
Matt Dennis looks sharp and potentially this season's best signing. Good to see Martom Paterson keeping him grounded and focused. The set-piece work is needed, Gills will be tough from dead balls.

Matt Dennis wins Player of Month Award.
Matthew Dennis has been playing really well. He’s done a great job since joining the team and I think he really deserves the award. It would be amazing if Mai Traore starts playing his best too. Then we’d have three strikers all scoring goals and causing problems for other teams. I’m really happy for Dennis. Winning League Two Player of the Month is a big deal and he’s earned it.

Match Discussion: League Two - Gillingham (A)
I’m not really sure. I think it’s nice when the team stays the same because they get used to playing together. But sometimes making changes can help, like bringing in fresh legs and keeping the other team guessing. Our squad is strong and things are starting to go better now. We’re getting more confident and playing well. It’ll be interesting to see how much better we’ve got since the beginning of the season. I think we’ve come a long way.

Matthew Dennis Ready for Gillingham Test after Player of the Month Honour
Dennis is a really good player. When he first came to Notts, not many people expected much. Some fans were surprised that the club made a big deal about him, especially since he only scored a few goals at Carlisle. Carlisle weren’t doing great, so it’s cool that Dennis still managed to stand out. It shows he’s got something special. He’s starting to show that now with us. He works well in our team and plays the way we need. It’s great having someone like him who keeps getting better and can do something amazing when you least expect it.

Progress Report
At the beginning of the season, things didn’t go very well. It looked like we were going to have a hard time and maybe not win much. But now it feels like we’ve got past that and we’re doing better. The loan players seem alright. I think they’ve helped the team a lot. I do wish we had signed a few of them properly, though. Still, the players we’ve brought in seem different and could really help us this season. I’m glad with how the club is going. I know not everything will be perfect, but I try to look at the good stuff and not just the bad. That’s what being a fan is all about.

Which Early Retiree Would You Have Loved to See at Notts?
I think Jack Wilshere would’ve been amazing at Notts. He was such a good player and even if he got injured a lot, he still had loads of skill. Even if he was a bit fragile, he could still help in the big matches. Just let him rest when it’s not important and bring him out when we really need him. He’d tear League Two apart with the way he plays. It would’ve been cool to see him in a Notts shirt, showing everyone what he can still do.

Understanding The Reedtz Vision for Notts County
Some people just don’t know how to say what they mean properly. They get angry and type the first thing that pops into their head. It doesn’t help anyone and just makes things worse. If someone really wants the Reedtz brothers to leave, and they can explain it properly, I’d still be confused. They’ve done loads of good stuff for the club and seem to care about it. I don’t get why anyone would want that to stop.

Jacob Bedeau Praises Team Effort After Notts County Secure First Clean Sheet of the Season
Notts played really well against Fleetwood. They were good at going forward and also strong at the back. I like how the club didn’t blame the pitch, even though they said it did make things harder. Most of the time, I thought Notts were the better side. Fleetwood did push near the end, and it felt a bit like how Notts play sometimes. It was a fun match to watch, with two good teams giving it their all.
