Good morning, I hope everyone is well. It’s Easter Sunday, I’m not religious so I won’t be celebrating or going to church, we’ll take some eggs round to the grandchildren this morning, we don’t buy ourselves eggs as neither of us are that keen on chocolate and even if we were I think Easter eggs are an expensive way to buy it, so we leave it to the kids. Years ago we used to do an egg hunt for our two boys and put clues around the house for them to find leading to the final clue which was where their eggs were hidden. All good fun and they loved it. So whatever you are doing today have a lovely day.

Morning all, I did my usual park run this morning at Long Eaton along with 630 other folk, I was very pleased to do my fastest run since October 2023. This afternoon I’m going to make some rhubarb wine, , I did some last year that turned out quite palatable so I thought I’d make use of this years crop. I just need to pop to the shops for some sugar and yeast.

Forget that I did vote for McGoldrick, it’s Kate I need sleep.

I wanted to vote for two players, I thought McDonald had one of his best games for Notts but who could deny McGoldrick Man of the Match for another stellar performance and wonder goal. So my vote goes to Didzy. Aaarrgghh! I’ve voted for Jatta by mistake I meant to vote for McGoldrick and I can’t edit it.

Indeed I thought he had an excellent game.

A much better performance from Notts and what a goal from McGoldrick, it remains to be seen whether one point is enough, we’ll see how tomorrows games go.

It’s been a lovely day we had a walk down to the cemetery to tend our sons grave, he’s just behind his grandma and grandad, whilst his other grandparents are across the other side of the cemetery along with his great grandma so it’s a proper family gathering. Then we sat in the garden and I mowed the lawn. Tonight I’ll be watching the match and hoping for the best.
