  1. @menzinho i think notts records all training sessions as part of their data analysis. notts did this exact type of video last season when we struggled, when stuart maynard first arrived. probably not as good as sky, but it is a good video.
  2. could man city be mocking the fa with this? a pr statement to say they dont care about their investigation and that they can do things like this. imagine if more clubs signed players for almost 10 years in one go.
  3. is he the guy that spent money on the stadium when he claimed he did not have it, but kept looking into ground improvements but never really did anything? i say spent money, i think the chairman i am thinking of skimmed it through false work.
  4. reformed 15 years ago, have a lot of history. reached the fifth tier of english football. doing quite respectful this season, scope to improve. i mean i get that they will be playing nearer clubs, but if it motivated by money it should be denied.
  5. it was a great bit of skill, a bit heavy on his touch but it worked out. nice to see haydn hollis doing well. i thought he was a decent defender, just a bit erratic.
  6. i like how the headlines have automatically jumped on this being a positive thing for wrexham and how it will help them gain promotion, when in fact nobody knows yet how it will impact wycombe. they have a good team, so a good appointment should see them be fine. good luck to matt bloomfield at luton.
  7. sounds all good to me. i dont get why people would join with temporary emails, but then i dont really understand why people join not to contribute. thanks for providing an update @Chris, i do think having a way to keep those who want to know in the loop in situations like sunday. i also get its not best to mention it on social media. i know pon is very transparent but that seems to only play in the hands of idiots.
  8. he sounds like a good addition but i would hope we can persist with finding him regular game time and stick to the plan if he does not find the net in his early days, once a player is settled it can make a difference. i am not against signing a young striker who will be given time, but if we end up playing him out of position or more as an impact sub then i dont know it would see him deliver what is needed. i am happy with the arrival, as i say its for us to make sure he fits in and can get the best out of him. it sounds like a very promising signing.
  9. it does look like its true and i think dan crowley will end up regretting leaving, i really hope so. there have been a lot of rumours about him allegedly wanting to join them after we rejected their bid when they signed aaron nemane. they have hardly been one of the better teams this season and i dont think they wlll be going anywhere, we have a good chance of finishing in the top 3 if we can keep up the good form. even if not, playoffs should be the minimum. i think the move will be more about money, than wanting to play in league one or higher. its very disappointing, because crowley has been a very good player for us and whilst i might be wrong. it does make me wonder why he would want to jump ship to a team lower down in the table who have not been the best this season.
  10. there is nothing wrong with whatever anyone prefers on their pizza, to charge more is just daft and the publicity should come back in a negative way. there is to much people telling others what to do in this day and age, charging 100 for a pizza is horrendous.
  11. i dont see many people complaining about how slow the game were, but swindon was very poor. it was not the best game to watch, but the three points are vital. all the goals was taken well, plus we had quite a few that should have gone in. hope its a sign that we can turn the tide and continue to push on, what a big moment it was to see jodi jones back on the pitch! he has been missed but such a good return. defensively notts did very well, alex bass made every shot towards him look easy. i do agree that we dont need to panic ourselves and should be a bit more mindful about our passing/distribution at the back.
  12. great signing for barrow, i really hope it works out for kyle cameron. he played a bit part in getting us back to the football league and i am thankful for his part in that.
  13. brilliant poem! i think it applies to more than just football, but friendship and communities like pon.
  14. i guess it depends on money. he does look like hes coming into the games more and does seem settled which i know would take time but i do also wonder if @Fan of Big Tone is right about him trying to earn his contract. i would like to think its more about feeling settled and a part of the team, rather than performing better to get a new deal with us or elsewhere. this would make me more minded towards letting him go. yet based on him feeling settled and his recent performance, i think he should stay.
  15. i thought david mcgoldrick deserved the man of the match. sam austin, rod mcdonald, george abbott, matty platt and dan crowley were also very good. i think defensively notts were mostly solid but mcgoldrick made the biggest difference.
  16. interesting to learn about some of our clubs history, i think if we could arrange a friendly between us and them. that is a very good idea.
  17. i wonder how many agents actually deserve the money they earn, i understand the role can help a player. much like a talent agent can take duties off a busy actor, but agents in football tend to seem money grabbers and negative with turning players heads by not having their best interests.
  18. i thought geroge abbott was class, it was a really good team performance but i do think our midfield won the game. largely due to abbott and dan crowley.
  19. if carlisle were higher in league two, i think they could afford mike williamson time but i think his appointment will go down as the wrong time to appoint someone like him. williamson did not look very capable of moving mk dons forward, despite a good team and i think it shows how desperate carlisle were when looking to appoint him. you cant rely on quick fixes in football, but i wish him well because its a difficult scenario to go into.
  20. i felt a bit disappointed with the attention some of our fans gave aaron nemane, players move on and if anything i felt it could backfire on us what with the score remaining level going into the second half. i thought it was a decent game, a lot of comments near to me suggest we have no fire power but we are relying on the strikers a lot and without rest. i was pleased when george abbott took his moment, it was a very well taken goal and the second half was a brilliant display from us.
  21. i read yesterday that he said he was keeping away from the dressing room, it all seems very strange and i think its possibly nothing in it but the media playing things into a much bigger thing. swansea are doing well under luke williams, and i think everyone should remember where they were when he arrived and how it took him time to turn the fortunes around. they could and probably should be in league one this season.
  22. i thought matt palmer was class and very unnoticed with his performance, he played a major part in keeping us level and able to go forward.
  23. Burnley 1-3Watford QPR 1-1 Preston North End Blackpool 2-3 Stevenage Northampton Town 0-1 Charlton Athletic Chesterfield 1-1 AFC Wimbledon joker Morecambe 2-3 Bromley Hartlepool United 0-0 Yeovil Town Wealdstone 1-2 Dagenham & Redbridge
  24. david mcgoldrick for me, i felt frustrated when we took him off. it was good to see dan crowley back in the team.
  25. i would be concerned if the manager was only able to pull in players from where hes been etc. its not really how to build a team, but i do hope that most of them do well. i like frank vincent but soon they will be able to field a full ex notts squad the rate they are going.
