Notts County have claimed a valuable point away at Lincoln City as Saturday's League Two encounter on Saturday finished as a 2-2 draw.

The Magpies had taken the lead through Jon Stead’s header in the 35th minute, which led to Lincoln manager Danny Cowley being sent to the stands for protesting a foul in the build-up.

Lee Frecklington, however, equalised on his debut minutes later and Matt Green then put the Imps ahead.

Nonetheless, Jorge Grant struck back with a powerful drive off the crossbar to secure a share of the spoils for Notts at Sincil Bank.
