Positives: Great build-up play for our goal, the finish wasn't that special but very well-timed considering the amount of time Langstaff had to place the ball. Thankfully, their keeper and defender who actually marked Langstaff messed up. If that was against Notts, I would've said they needed to mark tighter and be aware of the central threat.

Negatives: We still can't defend set pieces, nor do we protect the goal when overloaded.

Teams who do their homework properly will see this, hopefully Luke Williams will focus on it a bit in training.

Attacking and scoring goals can only do so much, I am not wanting to sound like I am overacting because the facts are we have won games by controlling them. The games we've dropped points in, are a lot like this, and it's not so bad. Yet if we're preparing for a successful playoff, resulting in promotion, it needs work.

The defending from Notts was absolutely woeful, as they seemed to be caught in that moment and unable to communicate effectively. This led to a sense of panic and disarray amongst the players, with everyone scrambling resulting chaos that was nothing short of mayhem, with Barnet taking full advantage of the situation to score their leveller.

it is poor that we cant defend set pieces all that well and if the opposition cram bodies into out penalty box, the defending becomes like headless chicksens but at least these are a lot more fewer because of how good we can be on the ball.

I understand that Notts may still make mistakes, and when they do, they can be quite concerning. However, I must acknowledge that these instances are occurring less frequently, and I can see that improvements are being made. Although Notts may focus on holding the ball in midfield or scoring more goals, their defensive issues are gradually decreasing. While conceding goals like the one against Barnet can be frustrating, such occurrences are becoming rarer. It's comparable to the situation with Chesterfield, where they crowded our penalty box, but we have made significant progress in our attacking play.

I've noticed that the problem occurs more often during away games. I presume that's because there's more pressure on the team since they don't have the advantage of their home supporters to calm their nerves when they're winning. It feels like a whole different ballgame when playing on the road.
