That moment when Arsenal score...captured ( look closely) on #C4News

Featured Replies

ha! the person in the far back of the studio, clearly an arsenal fan. i hope he did not get in trouble for the distraction, it was a great showing of passion. his celebration could easily become a meme. ????

It's wonderful to witness such moments! Instead of watching the news in general, I prefer to focus on uplifting experiences like this. The news tends to be distressing, and it contributes to people's struggles. By contrast, the presence of a fan in the background adds a positive atmosphere to the situation.

What we don't see or hear is someone in the same office shouting "sit down you, guunnneeerr". ????

This wouldn't happen with the BBC, they're all too stiff to celebrate.

Retro view of Benny Hill's 1970's skit of World of Sport. One can see why his contract at Thames was cancelled..as television humour moved on to more acceptable levels

If you learn something from every game, there shall come a point in time, when you should never lose... Jimmy Sirrel

Priceless reaction! It would be hard not to laugh. The news anchor will be thankful that he is in the studio by himself, as they do these days.

No doubt, he supports Arsenal. I don’t see a person banging their head on the table; that would have been a United fan. It’s always interesting to see how fans of different teams react to their team’s performance.
