Looks like Messi is begining the MLS season with a bang by orchestrating this great move for Inter Miami

A good move but what about the poor defending

It's just like watching Jodi Jones dance his way past three defenders, put a ball in the box for Macca to score. How many times as Messi set up up four assists in one match? You can't tell me the MSL is anywhere as good as the Football in England. Despite ageing Super stars looking for a  last big pay check.

america make football seem weird, the fireworks and the lack of reaction from the crowd. the goal was a good passing move, was it special? no. you would expect those players to do that all day long. there is a hype machine with certain situations and this is the prime example.

@liampieThere appears to be a capacity crowd watching but I bet the vast majority will be Hispanics who love their football.

Football to the Yanks involves blokes in padded uniforms and helmets, and in the words of Jeremy Clarkson, a bit like Rugby which is played by Real Men.. Have you ever seen the Soccer (as they call it) chants the Yank supporters come out with? There's a comparison  on you tube showing the difference between American Fans and English Fans. The most daring chant the Yanks have is  I BELIEVE WE CAN WIN . I Kid You Not.

It was a good straight run, with good passing but the goal is standard and even if it was scored with any other players not many other than those fans of the players would be talking about that.

It was a commendable run, but labeling the goal as extraordinary suggests bias or limited exposure to impressive goals. Regarding passes, Messi has executed more exceptional ones in his career. By their standards, it's a straightforward play and a neat finish.
