Why do people do it?

I was browsing Yahoo news, as I came across a shocking image it caught my attention. It was regarding Jackie Stallone, mother of action movie star Sylvester.

Jackie Stallone looks almost unrecognisable as she shows off the effects of her numerous plastic surgeries

She recently admitted that she regretted having so much plastic surgery on her face, despite still having procedures done.

It's her choice, as it is anyone's but the majority of people have no reason beyond trying to keep forever looking young. I find it very saddening but I just don't get why. Why do people do it? Is there any real need?

i find this sort of thing very sad, im not sure i think it should be freely available. surely doctors performing the surgery should have repercussions for neglecting their patients, i know at the end of the money talks but you would expect better off other things.

Very silly... people age...theres no need to hide it, it will still catch up on you. She would have looked better if she left her face to age properly.
