Do you think this is a really good thing, or does it give you concerns?

 

20-30 thousand dollars? I don’t see many regular people spending that kind of money on something that induces nightmares. That opening sequence of the robots walking reminded me of robots in the 80s, which were just as scary. When the video got going, they did seem pretty fluid. Elon Musk has been a voice against all this stuff, so it’s strange to see him involved in this.

This is more than likely Fake. Elon as done stuff like this before and it turned out to be someone in a Robot Suit, this maybe the same. The only time to worry I would say is when Robots become Androids like Data in Star Trek The Next Generation. Yes I Know it's an Actor, but if Robots Do Ever become that Intelligent and Self Aware then the Human Race May Have Problems, They'll have to be a Kill Switch or a Short Life Span (like in Blade Runner) incorporated into each Robot/Android.

Is this a human in a suit? I think not. The artificial intelligence is moving at an alarming rate

 

I can see the starting clip becoming a meme, especially the horrifying dancing they do later on. Splice them together, and the meme would go viral.

its just becoming stupid, i dont like the thought of these awful looking robots being used to save some people cheap time.

Speaking of Robots. Have you seen the latest Female Companion Robots coming out of Japan? Jeez they look so Life like and can hold a Conversation with people in Multiple Languages. They are Designed to express different Facial Emotions such as Sympathy when a Human tells them a Sad Story or News and are there to offer Comfort and Understanding. I think Elon Musk says one thing, and does another. I don't really like his character, or how he goes about things. I wouldn't trust any robot built by him, I am not sure if I would trust any but at the price - I don't think we need to worry all that much.
