Morning all, the sunshine has gone it’s a cloudy start and forecast to be colder. I’ve got to go to the dental lab this morning, I have a partial top denture which broke in two last night. I’m hoping they can fix it as I wont get a dentist appointment before our holiday next week.

I haven’t got much else on other than that, we’ll probably have a walk this afternoon but not too far as my thighs are still sore from running on Saturday.

Have a great day.

Hi everyone. It's been overcast here all day and a little drab. Temperature is 10 Deg lower than yesterday.

I have been following the news today of a terrible collision 20 miles east of Flamborough Head in the North Sea between a Tanker & a Container Ship.

Both ships are ablaze and it could be an ecological, environmental disaster. The tanker was carrying 100,000 barrels of jet fuel & part of the cargo of the container ship according to Sky is Sodium Cyanide which is very toxic to life

Learned today that ships have automatic pilot, & the Cargo ship sailed straight into the side of the Tanker that was at Anchor waiting for the tide so it could sail up the Humber.

Thankfully all the crew of both ships are safe which looks like a miracle looking at the two ships ablaze from bow to stern.

Well what a win that was tonight. It needed the players to step up & they sure did with a vengeance.

Grimsby were the form team & for Notts to put in such a positive performance is very encouraging for their prospects for the  last 10 games.

Port Vale & AFC Wimbledon lost so that really does put the icing on the cake tonight. Another big game awaits on Saturday at home to Chesterfield. CMON U PIES.

Good morning it’s a lovely bright start to the day but cold. I assume everyone is waking up happy after last nights results? Even @super_ram should have a smile on his face this morning.

I’ve not got much on for today apart from a walk to the shops maybe for a mooch around to see if they are giving anything away, yeah right that’ll be the day. :joker:

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

Good Morning overcast here and chilly. Looks like there is rain in the air.

Slept well last night after a great win by Notts. Bouncing back after two dissapointing results, shows that this squad is prepared to battle for the remaining ten matches.

We can afford ourself a couple of days of euphoria, but attention now switches to the next game.

A crucial game to come on Saturday at Meadow Lane when Notts entertain Chesterfield. A massive game that Notts need to win. Didzy gives us hope.

The Weather was a bit of a mixed bag today, sunshine and showers. We even had a hail squall just after mid day.

Did my couple of miles walk today. Have been doing a couple of miles a day for a while to build up my fitness

Bought a few hundred spring bulbs from Amazon several weeks ago & planted them in large pots straight after receiving them.

We had a mixture of Hyacinth, daffodils, Crocuses & dwarf daffodils

They have grown and are starting to flower. They are looking good, although they are not all flowering at the same time.

Hoping after several days most of them will be out in their spendour. Wife is pleased.

Good morning it’s a lovely sunny start although cold at only 3 degrees.

Tonight we are staying in a hotel in Buxton with our family and having a meal in a local restaurant as an early celebration for our 50th (Golden) Wedding Anniversary, on the actual day we’ll be on our cruise so we wanted to celebrate early with the family.

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing.

Good morning. It is cold but a little more sun compared to yesterday.

Completed my two mile walk, that's 12 miles for the week. Feeling a bit more fitter again.

Nice to see that Didzy got his reward for goal of the month for his well taken chip that found the net against Gillingham.

Hope he starts against Chesterfield.

Good Morning. Cloudy here with a few sunny intervals. Temperature is 6deg.

Anyone had their water & Council tax bill yet. Had both through the letterbox this morning. 😞

Need a Notts win this afternoon after the gloom of opening those letters.

CMON U PIES!!!!

Good morning and happy Sunday, it’s going to be a busy day for us, we’ve got to get our cases packed ready to go on our cruise, tomorrow we travel down to Sounthampton to stay in a hotel for the night before our embarkation on Tuesday morning.

We got posh clothes to pack including my Tuxedo and Mrs. T’s long evening dresses, there are two formal nights on this cruise so we’ll need our posh clothes for them. Then there’s all our short, t shirts etc., for when we reach the warm weather in the Canaries. Thankfully on cruises you can take as much luggage as you want so no weight problems like on planes.

Must dash lots to do. TTFN.

Dissapointing result on Saturday, but we move on & Notts have to pull out all the stops to win their next home game against Crewe on next Saturday.

Watched the Film, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"  (1956) this afternoon. It is still one of the best creepy films ever made.

They should have made a sequel straight afterwards. The 1978 film of the same name had some sequel elements in it but it wasn't a full sequel.
