Jake Tabor the Most wanted striker

Worth the punt for Notts, but with so much interest and him turning down moves, it seems unlikely.

There are shades of Macaulay Langstaff in him, and he’s only 22 years old!

Had a trial with Wycombe Wanderers, in 2023.

Wycombe Wanderers to cast eyes over promising striker on...

Wycombe Wanderers are casting their eyes over promising young Amersham Town striker Jake Tabor on trial this week.

If Wycombe sign him they might decide to loan him out to another club to help him with his development.

Signing young players then loaning them out seems to be the in thing nowadays.

He seems to be a good prospect & who knows, it happened for Langstaff, so he could turn out to be a good acquisition for Wycombe if they sign him permanent & maybe another club if he's then loaned out.

What are the chances of a team like us actually playing someone like him? It seems slim. I liked Lewis Knight, but we never really played him in his natural position. We didn't really play him at all, and when we did he was thrown on in a game where the opposition was clattering our players and he got took out. His injury did impact him, but not as much as the refusal to actually give him a chance did. Honestly, he ended up being better than Junior Morias, even though both of them are really fast. Knight could be one, if not the fastest footballer I have ever seen.

Good video on Jake Tabor's mind, I do hope he makes it to the EFL and it's good to see him stick with his team during the season.

He seems to have a good attitude and isn't letting things go to his head. There's no sign of arrogance or showing off, just a player who wants to put in the effort and improve.

I hope he gets the chance to show what he can do. If he keeps working hard, he could go far in his career.

He has a good head on his shoulders, and when he moves to a higher-level team, he should make sure it’s one that will actually play him and help him develop. Millwall gave up too soon on Macaulay Langstaff. We didn’t need them to prove it by putting him on the transfer list before this season started. Jake Tabor won’t want to end up in that situation, even though Macca is on decent wages.

The EFL is a big step up, but some players just have a natural instinct for scoring goals.

Putting in the hard work and making life difficult for defenders can be enough to succeed. Maybe, in a few years, Jake Tabor will be playing at that level.
