I don't recall seeing the houses that Granny Pie once told me about quite like that; it looks like houses were built on the cattle market land. If only we could go back in time and purchase much of this land up. How different could Meadow Lane really be?

Then again, the old stands were something nostalgic, and I like how we have a traditional ground now.

The cattle market was established in 1886 the picture was taken in 1933 so the cattle market would have been there, I think the land to the right of the ground is the cattle market what you can see are the animal pens.
