Great to have Nick back.

Welcome back Nick. Tsaroulla is a more than decent player at this level. He was messed around by Maynard, popping up at left back, right wing back and some sort of hybrid midfield role. Never settled in any position.

He has good feet, neat skills, plenty of strength and he can actually cross a ball to a player in the same colours shirt! Plus, he does shoot - with power and accuracy.

When fit, he should be a first choice starter, preferably as left wing back - where he first appeared as a sub for the amazingly over rated “pass it backwards” Chicksen. (Who had pace but rarely seemed to use it, always negated it anyway by passing backwards and couldn’t cross a ball to a Notts player to save his life - yet some folks said he put “good crosses in”. When was that I never saw one, well, maybe 1 only).

Tsaroulla is likely to be far more use than the ephemeral & incredibly inconsistent Jarvis in my opinion, not only in respect of ball retention but also defending when we lose possession. Jarvis, as a pure left sided striker, is an option - as long as he doesn’t have to defend in our half or tackle anybody because he can’t do either.

He got a good cheer when he was warming up in front of where I was sitting at Barrow. The stand opposite started chanting his song; you could see that it meant a lot to him. I personally think he should be among the regular starters provided he is fit; for some reason, he was in and out of Stuart Maynard's selection, but I would certainly have him ahead of Keanan Bennetts or Kellan Gordon.

I dream of Tsaroulla and Will Jarvis on each side, switching over at times and bombarding the opposition defence, causing nothing but mayhem.

Tsaroulla is a great talent, and I don't think we have seen the best of him in a settled squad, but I can't wait for the chance to see it happen because I think he could cause no end of trouble.

I do believe that if he is fit Nick should be a regular in the Notts side. I also agree with @Chris that Nick in combination with Will Jarvis on the left wing would be an excellent combination. I do hope that Martin will give Jarvis an opportunity.

Nick also used to work well with Jodi on the left wing too. Martin has plenty of options on the left & right wings. Having good players on the flanks is an essential ingredient for opening up defences & I hope Notts make the most of it in the games to follow.

I'm a big believer in Tsaroulla and enjoy watching him play.

End product has been bad though in his Notts career so far. You fear it could be one of those cases where he puts it all together at his next stop, the moment he leaves. That would be infuriating.

Let's hope the assist on Saturday is the start of him realising his potential with us.

I like the way Tsaroulla takes players on, he is better than Gordon who doesn’t seem to have that ability. Totally agree his finishing has been poor. Surely though with some help from the coaches, he should be able to improve this part of his game. If he can he would be a real threat in the final third.
