I’ve also heard strong rumours of Jatta going to Bradford but we are bringing in Paul Mullin- I can’t see him coming here!

I'm also wondering what the hell has happened to Cotter. Transfermarkt still has him with Notts and I don't recall an injury being reported. Given MP started him to begin the season to go from that to not even on the bench is remarkable. Like you say I can't see him playing for Notts again.

We might still see Barry Cotter move back or move on. I don't think he would play again, unless about 3 or 4 players get injured.

My take is that he isn't a Notts player, doesn't fit the possession-based style we still tend towards. He's a force but doesn't help us control the game at all.

Barnsley are laughing at us at this point. Taking Didzy, loaning us Cotter and not picking up the phone when we'd like to return him without a receipt.

I think Cotter's loan to us was supposed to be a precursor to a permanent move, like Jones a few years ago. Barnsley didn't loan him to us for him to regain his confidence or pick up experience, as far as they're concerned he's gone and he's not their problem.

This puts him in a tricky spot as we're so overloaded with wing backs he probably won't get a look in, yet we can hardly loan him out ourselves. For the sake of BC and his career I hope Barnsley do pick up the phone and find him a club where he'll actually play before his contract expires in the summer.

Well he's gone to Sligo Rovers.

That's 4 out now - Aljofree, Gordon, Roos, Traore. Monty doing some good work clearing the way for players to come in.

Be nice to see Traore do well and get some confidence. He might then get a shout at Notts next season.

I would suspect another forward is coming in now that Traore has moved out on loan, in Martin's post-match interview it sounded like a player could be close to signing.

Rodders would be the perfect replacement for Rodders, but I can't quite see it. He'll end up at a mid-table team in the Portuguese top flight.

I mean he loved his time here, I think if we were in League One, it'd be nailed on, but alas.

I think he'll get the offers from all over, Peterborough, Eredivisie, MLS, Liga Nos midtablers. (and just to add, his agents/management company is based in Netherlands).

However, if he's still out of contract say by Feb, a cheeky 18 month contract surely could be an option.

Unfortunately Notts were never going to compete wage wise. My money is on him going to Peterborough because he would join up with Luke Williams again.

I hope now that we are getting to the last week of the window Notts will refuse any bids for Jatta or anyone else of value to Notts.
