I was going to post this inside the 'Buddy Holly' topic, however I felt it wasn't really right and I didn't want it to come across in the wrong way.

My children overheard a modern take on the classic the other day as we walked around Tesco, whilst I upgraded the site - I watched music videos with my youngest daughter Ava. After watching Dear Jessie (literally 5 times!) I decided to play some of Weird Al's parody's. White & Nerdy, Amish Paradise - all quickly got shakes of the head and a couple of lite smacks to measure (I assume she doesn't like rap music). Anyways, I clicked this just to test it and she loved it.

Anyways I could share a tone of his songs but any Star Wars fans should find this to be pretty funny. :P

love weird Al

He is very very talented, some of his songs are just pure dumb. But the majority of his stuff is really good

I think the dumb part comes down to the fact the songs he covers are weaker lyrically in the first place. I think there's one called 'Stuck in the Drive Thru' or something like that, it used to annoy me but I find it quite funny. I've seen couples like that, so it always reminds me of the song but some aren't very good. :P

I just love his take on What if God was one of us. What if God smoked cannabis.
