Stevenage Vs Notts County

Featured Replies

Thanks Liam for starting the match thread!

I am nervous which seems to be a growing habit for me, I was when we played Pompey and strangely it disappeared for Hartlepool's game. I think that was because I was quite excited about it. It will be interesting for sure, I hope Chris does well while he's in charge for us and I still believe we can push on. It's something we need to do together, so focus is very much the key.

Will be listening to the magpie player (unless I can't pick the match up) Then I'll result to listening to it on the radio.

Fingers crossed It will go our way but Stevenage will surely fancy this!

hope for the best but seeΒ motivationΒ being an issue myself.

notts will need to start showing some desire to overcome these situation your club finds themselves in but it's honestly not that bad. you just need to change things, ideally this should of been with keith curle.

This will be another hard one. I think we will see the return of a back four and two up front. The game is winnable, but I will be nervous right from the beginning, unless/until we go three up. :-)

Stevenage are not in the best of form. If we can hit them from the start I think they will fold. If we sit back, then I think we will be in trouble.

Unfortunately this is going to be one of the few games that I won't get to this season. COYP's

Well I'm preparing to get ready, a little nervous but I have a good feeling that.

I can't get the MP coverage to start at the moment so it looks like I'll be getting my radio out. (very nice of Absolute Radio to send me one) I'm hopeful I won't be on my own here as it was nice the previous occasions where we had a fair few on our chat. COYP!

4-4-2 (would be nice) tonight

Notts: Spiess, Sheehan, Leacock, Liddle Β©, Judge, Hughes, Zoko, Mahon, Arquin, Campbell-Ryce, Boucaud.

Subs: Pilkington, Kelly, Smith, Bencherif, Tempest, Waite, Showunmi.

We sounded like we had put in a reasonable performance, it's a shame we didn't to pull level. I still feel Bart is a real big loss for us as his experience would help to get the defense to wake up. Fabian put in a decent performance again from the comments I head and have read from those who went on twitter but we need to show characters. More positives!

I heard that Notts played well and deserved the draw at least, but I think it's a shame to go down at the first shot of the first minute. The team always gives me the players are not concentrated at the starting whistle: also on Saturday the first goal arrived in the starting minutes. That's not good.

Ok for the playing and the football style, but now the team needs points and needs them on the next game. It's not a tragedy about the table, but Notts continues to waste points: 3 on Saturday and 3 tonight, just to talk about the last two game. Those points are important: 6 points to the play offs!

FORZA NOTTS, let's win Crewe!

YOU PIES!

I'm a little gutted in the result. Was really hoping on a draw at least! I never like to see Notts dropping down the table! I am personally putting this one down the the departure of the manager and a little unrest maybe with the team! It is hard to loose the boss, but it does seem like abit of a trend with Notts, and football in general though. I kind of wish Notts had let Curle go around xmas time so the new manager could have been in place for the transfer window, to impose abit of his own stamp on the team!

Anyway, on the whole from what I heard we were pretty positive, just fingers crossed everything settles soon....Maybe a new player and we will start climbing that table come next matchday

The result wasnt that great but we at least had the ball at times lol.

We could of done with winning, but i guess the first match without a proper manager wouldn't be so easy anyway.

Hope the next match is better.

LOL

We had a decent amount of procession and I read at one point it was above normal, not sure exactly what that percentage was but I'll have a look later as I've been busy today. (want to post a bit) :P I know what you mean but Chris didn't sound too far out of depth. I agree we could do with experience tho ;)
