This Is England 90

I'm a huge fan of Shane Meadows and the This Is England series in particular. TIE90 is being filmed at the moment and will hot our screens in 2015. It will be the last installment of the series. I can't wait to be honest.

Anyone else a fan of this?

Definitely. As well as the obvious Notts connections, it just sits well as a real gritty drama. Character build-up has been brilliant and has made me notice a lot of the actors in other things.

Good job Shane and shame it has to end.

I was worried that he might not be able to get the original cast back together as they have gone on to other things but it looks like he has succeeded in doing so, including Stephen Graham (Compo), who is a fantastic character.

I guess it will be on Channel 4 again.

I liked the two movies before, I've watched them and although when they first came out I didn't like them. I have since grown to appreciate and enjoy them, I wouldn't say I am a massive fan but I will watch it when it's out.

A field where dreams become reality.

The original film was fantastic, one of the best I've ever seen and very powerful. I wasn't as keen on This is England 86 though, I don't think I watched it through to the end. It just didn't have the power of the original.

i have only seen the first movie, i enjoyed it but it did not really make me want to see the second. are all the cast members in the second and third films?

Yes they are. He's kept pretty much the same characters from TIE (the film).
