Some serious duds in there in recent memory.

Gudjon Thordarson, Jocky Scott, Colin Murphy, Hans Backe,

and of course "Don't call me Shirley" Steve Thompson

wow.

What a list with a lot more besides!

If you look at the list in-depth it becomes quite alarming at how poor some of the managers are.

It must be hard knowing who is best to look after the club but the list includes some people who should never have taken or been offered the realm of being Notts County manager. My, we could list several in the past 10 years.

Hans Backe for was always a stupid appointment.

How did he & Sven ever get involved in that scam without asking serious questions when they were first approached will amaze me forever.

There are 56 managers on that list over a 132 year period (not exact month to month) giving the average tenure of 2.35 years

Again according to that list Forest have had 36 managers over the last 126 years giving the average tenure of 3.5 years

Arsenal have had 23 managers over the last 121 years giving an average of 5.26 years, even taking Wenger's reign out of the equation they still average 5.09 years and I am right in thinking that they have never been relegated from the top division??

Has anybody else spotted that we have Shaun Derry, Martin Allen and Keith Curle all managing us?

Howard Kendle was a drunk allegedly (thanks @tonyhateley) who used to bring his booze in in a supermarket carrier bag, Howard Wilkinson is as much to blame for our recent decline as anyone due to his "lets cancel the academy" to save £50,000 a year, and guess how much he was on a year?? Yeah that's right £50,000, talk about looking after your own interests

You forgot to add allegedly @Northants Pie   I don't think it was ever explained why he was sacked by Mr. Pavis but that is the story that goes around.

The earliest one I remember was Eddie Lowe who was our player manager from 1963-1965 I would have been 11 when he took charge.
