Here's the trailer for a quality program that i've been following for the past few years. This is the trailer for season 1 and it's just finished season 5 so it is a runner. (which will surprise after watching the first season !!) but it's well worth watching if you like to follow a group of people. Strange thing is the initial reaction is what a load of plonkers, but the more you watch the more you want them all to succeed in one way or another. It has become essential viewing every time the new season comes around.

 

If you get a chance watch the first episodes, but stick with it.

Never seen it but it looks amusing, I'm not sure why panning for gold with a little bit of water (clearly nothing in it) is worthwhile on camera though.

Surprising he's still going strong! Every year hope for the best for him, but expect the worst!

When they get going (not necessairily the first season though) they get more than a little gold. tbh it's just as much about the people as it is the methods and end results. Like @pokerpie said Grandpa Joe is a seriously good age (93?) yet he still is a great person willing to travel around to see his grandson do so well.

 

Todd H is a strange one. His ambitions point to him being a loser, but there is something about him!

I think it's discovery, but i'd recommend watching the first season first so to speak. You can get the episodes off the web as legit or you can torrent the whole lot!
