Forget all this negative "We're going down rubbish" get behind the lads and give them your full support.

PS Don Masson should be knighted...................Arise Sir Don

PPS Is it true that the statue of Clough has been spotted shaking due to Alcohol withdrawal?

I'll give the team all the encouragement I can next time I'm over but I'm not feeling positive about things right now. The manager situation doesn't help matters either - can someone really come in with a handful of games left and turn us around? Mind you, I thought we were doomed last season too ...

I'm a glass half full kind of person, I'll always look on the bright side and have never ever booed the team.

I don't boo the team or individuals (give the opposition plenty) can only see it having a negative impact.

If you don't like the ups and downs of supporting Notts pop down the pub and support Chelski with the other glory boys

What, even when Colin Murphy was waxing lyrical and Thommo was doing his best to lose every match??

Saying that I cant remember a time when I booed!

Yes even through those dark days, let me tell you @hissingdwarf I have seen many, many dark days at Notts but I have never booed our managers, our players or our owners but the referee.........well that's another matter, I've booed plenty of them in my time

I can remember the old days when we stood in the County Road stand and if they team weren't playing well the slow handclap would start up with foot stamping in the stand, I didn't do that either.

I always believe we need to get behind the club, though I understand why some fans can't.

It seems the fallout plan is to give Paul Hart the reigns, I think he will get us relegated but I am prepared to get behind him. If we do go down, I will not blame him, I will not blame the board or Derry because this is what football is and I accept that.

Time to really try and get behind the club, not just the players.

A field where dreams become reality.

Wouldn't it be the great escape 3???

1. Billy D (bless him. Lovely bloke and really given a duff job at Notts with both hands tied behind his back!)

2. SD & GA last year.

3. Paul Hart, Mick Halsall and Dave K

It is what it is. No point in harping on now. These are the guys who are likely to see us to the end of the season (unless the chairman goes at it again like a bull in a china shop again!)

The players need to step up and play the way the management team want them to. I firmly believe that the philosophy from these 2-3 will be more enjoyable to watch than SD, and on that basis alone it should make the run in interesting. Not saying we'll stay up. Hope we do and hope the new management trio give us a taste of good football and points to boot!

Bring it on.

Looks all set for the great flop but you know what? I am notts through and through. County til I die!

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
