Aston Villa: Jack Grealish's dad wore son's Wembley shirt to do the school run!

Jack Grealish’s proud dad Kevin wore the Aston Villa winger’s Wembley shirt to do the school run!

Grealish senior has been kitted out in the match-worn replica shirt all day today following Villa’s FA Cup semi-final victory over Liverpool.

He even bumped into Premier League referee Andre Marriner, believed to be a Villa fan, in the gym while he was wearing Jack’s shirt. Kevin revealed that he wanted to wear the 19-year-old’s top around Solihull to display his pride, before he gets the shirt framed.

He put it on this morning and wore it while he dropped Jack’s sisters Kiera, 13, and Holly, 11, off at school.

I have to say when I noticed Kevin's post about this, I smiled and said out loud 'I'd do the same thing'. What a fantastic relationship they have, I realize some will go on about 'showing off' but Kevin isn't like that. It's just good fun, combined with a little bit of banter. I would loved to have seen the baggies reaction or Brummy fans!! Haha

His great-grandfather played for Villa in the 1905 final!

Good article this, pleased he's making a name for himself - http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/apr/20/jack-grealish-aston-villa-fa-cup-final

Interesting read that, something I didn't know until now. I like Arsenal but I would back Jack Grealish everyday of the week.

Hope he claims a winners medal.

Hopefully it remains framed and within his family, that shirt will be something important in future years. That said, I am surprised this made the news.

You can listen to the interview BBC did with his father online!

If your dad did what? Made you support Aston Villa? ;)
