OK. Tried everything I know and I cant for love nor money get tweets or retweets to post to facebook.

 

Tried settings apps and post to etc...

 

Tried disconnecting both by logging out and back in.

 

Tried clearing browser cache.

 

Still no joy.

 

Any ideas one and all?

@tonyhateley might be able to help.

If not, I will do some revision and look into why this may be happening or at least find a fix.

Even the share from here doesn't seem to work again now! I can't see.this post on Facebook. Strange as it was fine for poncast share after I had logged out and in again.

It sounds like your browser as gremlins, have you tried deleting your temporary files?

If it's posts from here, it could be that Facebook has broken it's meta - which sometimes makes things go a.w.o.l. I read your ordinal message as you wanted to link your accounts.

I forget what I did now, I think I just linked twitter to Facebook from one of the accounts, it will post twitter to Facebook but I couldn't do it the other way round. I'll have a look later to see if I can remember.

Thanks @tonyhateley but that guide is way old now and the things they suggest aren't even there anymore! Bloody thing.

Not sure if its got something to do with the fact that I use different platforms throughout the day.

Eg phone is normally on. Kindle when I pick it up. Comp when I need it etc...

Login to Twitter via your desktop and under the settings, there's an option to share tweets on FB. Then it's just sorting FB out

Have done that. The last tweet sent a few hours ago ...ending with test... hasn't shown anywhere in facebook even though

Part one solved. Seems facebook is now posting to twitter after a few tests and tweaks. 

Now need to sort out the twitter to facebook bit and then get posts started here by me shared on facebook correctly.

How did you do Facebook to Twitter I couldn't get that to work.

Well @notts-joe I still can't get posts started on here to share with facebook regualrly. eg the best location one I started a while ago. and yes I ticked the share with fb box!

What browser are you using? I have to apply another patch of the site later, so this may fix any issues but it does seem browser related because it's fine for me.

i use chrome. ill try one with ie.(even though i hate it!!!)

Try Firefox, it's actually better than chrome and I.E combined but again, it's all down to preferences really.

Thanks for that @hissingdwarf I had done all that but didn't realise you have to make your posts public. That's not something I would want to do with my personal Facebook account but I don't mind on FanofBigTone because I'm an international man of mystery and don't put any personal stuff on there.

The test thread was posted using internet explorer. Still no joy
