If you watch the video of the notts day 2 pre season, around one minute in we see 2 keepers training? One not being carrol? Does this mean a new keeper stepping in?

It's quite rare to see a club trial more than one keeper, especially at the same time but we need a good backup for sure.

Not at all.  Roy has signed a new contact and will be our No1 this season.   We allow him not to train.   Its our way of preserving him

 

There will be an experienced and competent No2 coming in so keep a eye out on the OS for an announcement

@RayTrew Are we signing 2 keepers? I do not want to read to much into what you wrote but "experienced and competent No2 coming in" seems to suggest neither of the trialists would be this player you mention. That makes me think we will have 3 in total at Notts, is this right?
