What little character he has left after the assassination of it by all corners of the media, let us see if we can totally finish the job.

He pledges his future to Aston Villa, assuring them he is going nowhere, everybody holds him up as some kind of modern paragon of virtue. Before you know it, he has changed his mind, and decided he does want to leave after all.... No messing about, straight up to Manchester and before you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, he is a City player.

On the 7th of November Manchester City travel to Villa Park, now I am not normally a fan of the premier league, but this one game has suddenly become somewhat appealing.....

your thoughts....

Wait, can someone tell me if he actually signed a deal? I was lead to believe he had committed his future. If Villa had a clause inside that, then I hold no blame on Delph however he's not that good in my opinion.

Villa should be able to replace him, they just need to be smart about it.

Why do people rant about how good Fabian Delph is? He's nothing special really.

The bit that sticks for me is the heartfelt announcement... "I am staying at Villa, blah blah"

Welcome to Stoke Cities bench 2018! Ha!! I laughed so hard when I read that tweet.

I do not see how he will get in the man city team myself, they have far better players already.

greedy, he will end up being pushed on the wings. he does not have enough quality to fit into the middle of the field or take one of their existing players places. i wonder if other players will act snobby because he was purchased for a small fee considered by their standards?

They've only signed him to add another english player into their premier league squad and he's only gone there for the £6,500,000 a year he will earn.

I suspect both parties know it is a marriage of convenience.

You dear Sir, have nailed it imo. The English homegrown player rule was forefront of this deal imo.
