I hope he is back, certainly one of the stand out players for us this season! He is also valued highly in the mobile version of Football Manager that I got last night :)

Hello notts26....do not believe all you hear....the temperature is rising and i wouldnt be surprised to see stan back!!

Posted

if the bloke has a virus he has a virus doesn't he ? unless you me an 4-5,000 fans are being lied to in the ground.

Unless Stan comes out and says hey fans I had this injury instead not a virus then il believe what the club says .

But we will find out Tuesday won't we

well that's funny cause he was suppose to train today but moniz said hel give him as long as he needs to prove his fitness.

Also it was a apparent bacteria virus so you don't know or me what way that can effect you're system it can drain you.

So itl be a late decision no doubt but we also have rob Milsom who is now fit but I can see were you're coming from the club don't always let the truth out I suppose

Well it will be interesting if he's played tonight, I suspect he will because we missed him.

He also spoke about trying not to miss games, as he's been plagued by lengthy spells. This was mentioned in a video on the Magpie Player, which I found to be quite interesting and it even briefly touched upon his time at Gillingham.

Plagued by lengthy spells...????i blame the african witch doctors..lol....

So what conclusions if any can we come to for stanleys no show on saturday against northampton???and did his no show cost us valuable points????

Posted

@gtownjohnno what are your thoughts on this? Do you believe the club are trying to sell him?

Posted

Who knows!!!...the club certainly moves in mysterious ways nowadays....didnt play saturday and then trots out tuesday evening....the decision i think certainly cost us 3 points.....and iam not happy about it!!!!....I think the club are always trying to pull the wool over our eyes..

Posted

i do not see why they would not play him if he was available, i have heard people in the kop saying they think we pitched him for sale but i think its just a rumour.

Posted

no way would sell Stanley it would be ludicrous to if he had a virus who knows what it actually was.

Hes had 3 days to recover from that virus an if indeed we were apprently selling him I wouldn't do it cheaply.

Also a rumour in the kop take it with a huge pinch of salt I sit in there an some of the rumours I hear are just laughable????????

I also think Stan is happy and and is enjoying it so I doubt he wants to move also if McLeod is worth 150k I'd love to see what stans worth at 28 I believe.

But yea Ray would be stupid to sell our best player

Posted

Selling Aborah alone would instantly reduce ambition and the attendance, something which Ray cannot afford to do right now.

possibly, i also feel the club like to deceive us.

if you think the club are trying to sell Stan  something is wrong with you.

While we're at it why don't we sell Burke Murray Stead aswell then yea some of our other better players .

Rumours are hilarious I've heard rumours like that are laughable last year about top players we was looking at.

If we was selling Stan there would be a replacement all ready to move if was the case which clearly is made up rubbish

Well, he's injured - confirmed by Colin Slater but length is unknown.

Until we know what is is injury is exactly, I guess the rumours will continue and I don't expect the club to reveal the length whilst we are trying to progress a way from negativity.

Whats the difference????

We need him back ASAP, the midfield looks completely different without him. Does anyone know what is exactly wrong with him?
