Judge To Derby?

Recommended Posts

I would suspect with the championship playoffs still in motion, we might not see any further news until after. I have my fingers crossed for Derby but I'm wondering if a lower premier league team will catch his attention. It's a good thing he ruled out Forest ;)

I would either guess he'd do what you said Joe, and i'm also glad he ruled out forest.

I read two things today about him, one on the official site (which stated Chris is prepared to try to replace Alan) and a goodbye article on the This is Nottingham website. Both fairly interesting reads, though I still think we might see him hold off from making any formal decision early on. I bet he feels the world at his feet now, he came here with high expectations and some wrote him off. William and myself always rated him at Blackburn, so I for one will continue to watch out for his development.

I wouldn't mind seeing him at Derby either. Then again I wonder, if Leicester go up, whether they'd be willing to take a chance on him in the Premiership? I think it would be a fairly low-risk gamble as he'd be on a free, he's only 24 so can still develop, and not to mention the wages - Judge could multiply his salary several times over and it would still be comparatively low for a Premiership team. And he can remain local.

either them or derby, hope he plays whoever he joins

Somewhere local would be more convenient for him, but being with notts still would be even more convenient lol

Being realistic again... at least hes not going to forest.

Ben has signed a one year extention on his Rams Contract.I'm really chuffed that he has decided to stay and fight for his place. If he had decided to move on I would not have blamed him,  but,  by staying,  I think it sends out a positive message to our fans  Personally I hope he features more next season.I'm quite pleased at the moment by the way our team is shaping up for next season.Another 2or 3 decent signings and I will be really optimistic.

It seems a bit quiet on the Notts signing front though, perhaps we'll have a bit of movement once the play-offs and holidays are out of the way.

Good news for derby! I think some teams always seem to get the signings early and others wait till its close to the next season. I could be to do with play-offs i guess.

I do hope we sign some good players soon.

I'm sure CK is very busy trying to sort contracts out and sounding out possible signings. As the saying goes-No news is good news.

Posted

Yeah there is that. It would be nice to hear something, but theres still a few more months to go so its extremely important right now.

Posted

I think that as soon as CK sorts out the existing players contracts and knows where he stands with them,  then we will see some transfer activity. No need to panic yet.

Some of the players, I.E Jeff Hughes mentioned being away for four weeks at the 'end of season awards'. I assume we will have a couple more weeks to find out any news of re-signings and contracts being tied up. I think once we do move into the market, the odd signing might boost morale and if we can attract a couple of an higher standard, this would be vital for our existing squad. I hope we gamble on some upcoming players also!

Get behind the whole club :)

Still wonder where Judge will be heading.

think we will be playing the waiting game, hope we see some good movement.

I have a feeling it will be a case of slow, slow, quick, quick, slow.-a couple of days with news(good and bad) followed by no news for a while but by July-well lets see.

Yes, that's the article I linked to but how has Joe Jones got his information? There is no official word. Just wondered that's all.

I checked on Google last night and there were several reports on but today I can't find them. There is a report on Google news however which is one of them I found this is not official.

He's gone to Blackburn, oddly a lad in the club shop was talking to Rachael about this and he told me. I responded 'Really? I never would expect him to consider them', I guess he's gone back because of his roots and the fact he knows the club. I don't think they'll change very much, I do not see them getting promoted but I respect Alan!

Possibly a good move for him.

I've only seen the article on the main site upto now, but Joe Jones would of researched it before writing about it though. We'll have to wait and see for the official confirmation i guess though.

I think a lot of deals officially runout/begin on July 1st.
