Judge To Derby?

Latest rumour (not sure whether it's true or not) Alan Judge will sign for Derby very soon. Come on Super Ram what have you heard?

Whistles

It's been going around for awhile, yet settled down and only recently became something I think is realistic. I know Alan Judge will choose wisely, he would do wonders at the right club and the last thing he needs to do is move to a side where he would bench sit. I hope he doesn't opt for a 'lower end premier league team' but does sign for a championship side, especially if that is Derby.

There's a lot of speculation on various Derby sites,(mostly rubbish) but the only rumours I've heard regarding Judge are from Notts fans.

I think the Rams have a very good nucleus and with the right additions could beΒ  genuine promotion contenders next season.

Nigel Clough says he has 6 targets in mind and there will also be players outgoing.

Judge has the character and is the type of player who would fit in very well. He would,Β  IMO,Β  be an excellent addition to the squad and I would think Notts fans would be happy if he did come.

Let's wait and see. :)

He said in a magpie player interview that he was settled in Nottingham with his girlfriend but was ambitious, a move to Derby would satisfy both points.

I would be very happy if he signed for us. Whatever he decides I wish him well.

Meanwhile Ben Davies is considering signing a new contractΒ  but says he's not happy just playing a bit part. He has only started 8 league matches but has come on as sub a lot, scoring 5 goals. I consider him a very valuable squad member as he is always a threat and is versatile, even playing in defense when we had an injury crisis..The fact he wants to be involved more speaks volumes for his attitude.

Yes, Ben is another player I was gutted when he left.

Our 2010-11 season took a pretty drastic downturn in fortunes when Ben left, and both Thomas Ince & Lee Millers loan deals ended. They were fantastic players, two of the rare good things to come from Paul Ince's time at the club.

If he joined Forest I think he would become public enemy no.2 ;)

I'm glad he ruled out this move, it shows a sign of respect and we never know he might return someday. I spoke to a fan in the club shop, he said he were joining Blackburn but Judgey laughed when I asked him this. We will see :ahappy:

no, no, no plz!! dont mention lee miller!

Β

I'm not a fan of his Liam, he's a poor player. I don't see why people rate him so highly, his goal scoring record isn't all that impressive and he's a thug.

Β

It would be great to see him back with us again someday, but thats not something im expecting to happen.

Ditto, if he goes to Derby I will dragging Super Ram to Pride Park.

I wouldn't mind seeing him at Derby either. Then again I wonder, if Leicester go up, whether they'd be willing to take a chance on him in the Premiership? I think it would be a fairly low-risk gamble as he'd be on a free, he's only 24 so can still develop, and not to mention the wages - Judge could multiply his salary several times over and it would still be comparatively low for a Premiership team. And he can remain local.

Still not heard anything. There are a lot of names being bandied about and signings are apparently imminent this week but I believe some of the official comments are just a smokescreen. Brian Clough used to dismiss certain players and hint at others only to sign a completely different player.

Alan Judge would fit in to most championship sides.

I have seen people mention Hull City, yet any team is likely to see this as less of a risk due to him being a free agent. My money is on a nearby club to us, I think his Partner is settled in the area and he bought an house if I am not mistaken. Might be staying around for a little more time to come.Β

I know he could sell his house and move, but when you settle into an area you don't just move away because he will never really know how long hes going to be staying at a club in that type of job unfortunately.
