Julian Kelly, Hamza Bencherif, Liam Mitchell and Jake Wholey ALL RELEASED

Alan Sheehan, Jeff Hughes, Yoann Arquin, Joss Labadie, Haydn Hollis, Curtis Thompson, Tyrell Waite and Greg Tempest Offered new deals

I would have kept Julian Killy myself, I am sad to see Liam and Jake leave but these can find clubs if they want. Hamza was always most likely to be in this situation. I wonder if he knew before, as this could explain his lack of performance, he seemed sharp and useful when he first came back.

I hope all the above sign new deals, will hope to see what happens in terms of signings.

Well with the exception of Arquin I'm quite happy with those who have been offered new deals, especially Joss Labadie and Jeff Hughes. Jeff I believe is one of our most under utilised players, here's hoping we can play in a way that fully utilises him next season.

Arquin may be a bit of a hidden gem, he does show flashes of brilliance but sadly they're far too few and far between. Maybe he could be a pretty decent impact player given his pace, but that's if his attitude is right.

I'm a bit 50/50 about Kelly. He was pretty injury prone and we can't afford passangers but when he did play he was decent, and played at a very consistent level.

I think I'm right in saying Jake Wholey only played once at home to Preston? So it's unfair to comment much on him or Liam Mitchell who only played against Rotherham, and that was a bad night! I'm sure CK has his reasons though, after all he knows the younger players as well as anyone.

The first steps are being taken to building a side for next seasons

I am surprised that Arquin has been offered a deal, I hope Chris can get the best out of him, I agree about the flashes of brilliance but I just wish they were a bit more often.

All the others I am pretty pleased about, so far so good. Now lets get some decent signings in to complement them.

I think it may be mainly to do with budget, I hope we sign some other players now judge has gone :(

The general opinions seem to be positive and as Tony says, so far so good.

I wouldn't easily write someone off, I think Enoch still provides good cover and if we can lift him.. Well those fans who wanted us to splash money on him, will only be thinking it's good business having him on a free. I do value Zoko (another who's been written off) If we can get these players performing, happy and most of all lift their confidence I honestly feel we will have a decent strike-force.

Enoch came with expectations, why do we as a club expect players to come to us with the form they established over a period of time at the previous club?

Arquin's scored more goals for us at a higher level, this is a good sign.

Zoko is good enough, we just need to get him confidence and keep him in the first team. (that's if he doesn't give any more shirts away):thumbsup:

I think its going in the right direction with signings and offers. We'll have to see how it all goes upto when the new season starts.
