To be fair, that sounds like just the kind of thing that would happen to Tarkers :D

To be honest, with the squad we've got is absolutely criminal that we're looking at play-offs as a longshot this season, but thats a whole other discussion. Yeah they are in sight, and we have games in hand. Yes we would be in the mix if we could string a run of good results together. Problem is we've been saying that literally all season, and our record against the sides above us is dreadful. We've only managed to beat one of the top half of the table. Realistically I can't see us putting together the type of run needed. Unfortunately I'm thinking lets just get enough points on the board to guarentee we're not looking over our shoulders and brush this season under the carpet.

if we can keep mcleod stead Adams noble Curtis Stanley an Murray  bring Loach through as no1 keeper next year hopefully sign 2 solid Centre backs.

Get some more of the younger talents like Atkinson montel an a few of the younger lads in reserves give them a pre season chance to show us what they can offer

Hopefully add a few wingers with pace trickery and ability no more my signings vs you're signings as that doesn't seem to be happening so far.

Mckenzie was brought in but also k own by Fullarton in his time at Scotland Banton if he signs knows both branston and Fullarton so was moniz picking his own players as branston isn't bringing in his own.

Seems Fullarton is having his say which is how it should be but yea when you look at them play offs some poor sides in there mansfailed Accrington Wycombe Bristol rovers nowt in there that have spent more then us or have a bigger budget

Play-offs.......hahahahaha.......Kylie cannot stop giggling......not sure if that is because of the York half-time score......or because she keeps remembering last night in the Fun Palace!!

we have no chance of top 14 let alone top 7 we can't even beat bottom of the league York sorry but now 18th it's looking like a relegation battle in league two now

I totally disagree, we could have won today, sounds like we dominated them, by the sounds of it both goals could have been avoided and we just need to be more clinical infront of goal, we would to not win for the rest of the season to go down

Once York scored there was only ever going to be one outcome.

Now lets focus on building for next season, reduce the squad size and give players a chance if they have a future at the club. The focus must be on getting out of league two, if it dont happen in 2016/2017 then hell will break lose. Meltdowns and moans will fall upon all.

I don't think so we dominated corners they had a fair few chances that were just as close by the sounds of it but the fact is we lost to bottom of the league.

Im happy you have faith but sorry the play offs are dead now

If we had that many chances and shots we couldn't have been that bad

okay so we had many shots how many were on target ? how many shots did York have on target ?

Also possession corners and shots don't win games clinical ruthless goals win games look at Crawley 1 shot 1 goal Crawley had about 10 shots 0 goals.

Sorry but if you're on about making the play offs you can't have 10 shots and not score a single one play off side are ruthless that's why they are where they are Orient Bristol rovers Plymouth will prove that to us if given a chance.

again only saying how it is you can't have 10 shots and not score one of that's the case they all need a extra 3 hours shooting practice cause York managed to score 2

I totally get where your coming from, how can we not score from 18 corners? Jamie is supposed to be about playing 'effective' football but to not beat these comfortably when the game cried out for some creativity from someone like aborah, Burke, snijders and valencic, JF has too change his ways and quick, I go through stages of so much hope and optimism but if we don't win Tuesday then he is on thin ice

in fact let's be honest there first goal Carroll is God knows how far off his line chipped second goal ripped to shreads simple tap in these are bottom of the league.

Im not been funny but what's the point in spending big money on players if we employ Ronald McDonald ?

The way I see it is simple okay we ain't good enough for top 12 simple there are teams with  half of our budget but seem to play better football then us and have a better plan then us.

Something is seriously wrong at this club I can't see us beating Hartlepool away curse remains Orient at home Plymouth away accring away Bristol at home not many points there I can see us gettin sorry

his football is simple Crawley sit back depend break and try Nick it Luton sit back and Nick it did that but again if Luton would of scored there many chances they had diffrent story.

It reminds me of Shaun Derry all over again away his plan was sit back soak it all up get lucky Nick a 1-0 win its jus pray and hope.

At home against Wimbledon we had the same defensive mindset and we got slaughtered for it you can't sit back and try counter.

Abroah could be used as a no10 jus to do those clever balls etc that way he won't have to track back so much but Carroll I'd consider dropping seriously.

And also I'd work on corners set pieces if you have 10 damn corners and can't score from one something is seriously wrong also work on shooting aswell.

But does anyone Rember Wycombe when they equalised and the header was a looping one cause Carroll came out got stuck in two minds goal against Northampton to came out for a corner or free kick.

And again didn't get there goal and again final thing that winds me up players out of postion we have had this all season stead was a winger mcleod was a wide forward at times so on.

Now Hewitt is a centre back now he's a right back again now noble is a winger noble is a damn centre mid who will run and get stuck in not a damn winger we have wingers Fullarton.

Banton winger Snidjers winger Valencic winger Campbell winger Burke winger 5 wingers there but na lets shove noble there and he's apparently watched us before yea did moniz leave his scrap book he won't last very long can gaurentee it

Posted

It is plain to see that he has an agenda against Stanley, Snijders, Amevor, Valencic.... How can he score a fantastic goal at Crawley and get dropped? Disillusioned that Jamie cannot see he needs a certain amount of creativity to balance the work ethic

Posted

why not try Banton wide left Snidjers wide right both have pace an noble abroah or Curtis aborah take you're pick or why not shove abroah higher up.

Even valencic deserves a bench seat one chance one goal never to be seen again and I rate Atkinson when he was playing right back for me he didn't do a lot wrong an is very unlucky to be dropped

Either the play-offs are no longer in sight or I need stronger binoculars. The building for next season starts now.

I tell you what like I said before if we get to the play offs il litreally buy everyone a pint  and we can go mental.

But I gaurentee we will be lucky to get 16th spot

And it will be a boring season if as @Piethagoram says the creative players are sidelined.

Yep it would be good to see Aborah on the pitch and playing higher up behind the forwards.

he can play in the hole and can play them clever balls plus he is calm on the ball and doesn't get knocked off it easily.

if he's not going to play this season don't just let him walk out on a free

Posted

@Riverleeno I think Judge let his contract run down. Nothing Notts could have done about it. If he had been sold the previous season, the chairman would have received the inevitable abuse of showing no ambition. You just cant win

So what does Fullerton do with Aborah? He either needs to be playing or Notts try to sell him. I don' t think there is any middle ground. Aborah playing in the reserves is a waste.
