Indeed, Sirrel, Allardyce and Warnock wouldn't have found themselves in this mess in the first place. If players wanted out, they were allowed to leave or a buyer was found. If they wanted to stay but weren't happy at not being in the team, that was something for the manager to deal with one way or the other. Either by convincing the player he would be given a fair chance to make the team or by letting him go.

There have ALWAYS been strops, sulks and arguments behind the scenes, players probably spit their dummies out on a weekly basis. Even the very best managers have to deal with them and resolve them for the good of the team. But I have never known things to escalate in this manner before. It reflects very badly on our club.

You hear rumours and even read stories about players fighting with players, managers, coaching staff etc.

Most go under the radar, or are quickly nipped in the bud but here everything just seems to reach the level whereby people feel the need to explode and have their say. I don't blame Ricardo for having spoken out about Branston, I don't blame Aborah for doing similar but I want to see it end here.
