According to Mansfield town fans we have not paid them for damages to there toilets that were trashed and there share of ticket sales.

Apparently we have a embargo according to them until we pay them for the damages and the ticket sales according to people that attended a fans forum.

I belive it was were there chairman answered questions if it is true I wouldn't be surprised we are being run like a amateur squad

At the One Call stadium, we have a weekly 'An Evening With', and usually we get past and present players, with the the owner and CEO, John and Carolyn Radford getting in the hot seat last night.

In the seccond half of the evening, questions are taken from the floor, to give fans the opportunity to ask questions. Sometimes they're good, some not so, as you'd imagine. But there was a question asked about the damage Notts County fans caused to the North Stand, where it was revealed that Notts had not only resisted the paymnt for damages, but not paid us our money for ticket sales. This is in the region of £20k + invoices for damages.

As a result John Radfaord filed a formal complaint to the FA and stated that as a result Notts had a transfer embargo that is stopping Notts from signing any new players until the ticket money and the damages are paid for. It was suggested that the FA will then deduct the amount owed for ticket sales from the allocation payment due to Notts next week, but the invoicing for damages will need to be a matter between the two clubs.

Does that mean you haven't paid other clubs that you travelled to since you came to us? This isn't acceptable at any level. Yet again, those in charge of Notts showing no class.

Just thought you should know.

That's absolutely disgraceful if true. I'd like it to be fabricated, but our club has form in not paying bills lately.

Never mind the owner, we are supposed to have a CEO who is running the club - so what's going on?

As for the transfer embargo - the only man at the club who can sign players is Guy Branston, so every cloud has a silver lining!

This appears to have legs. Here's a thread on their fans' forum.

Oh dear, more unnecessary drama. It's a shame the culprits can't be found and made to pay it.

Agree with that for sure on the damage from the hooligans, but that's a sad reflection again if the ticket money for the game hasn't been paid, no excuse if true , I see the lights are on at notts but no one in , must be on hols already .

I completely agree, except no Amateur club would be so badly run by people paid a lot of 'our' money.
