Liam Noble has joined Forest green rovers and mark Cooper, no wonder Cooper left a list of players for us to release!

Good luck to him, a very talented player when he wanted to be but a right t**t at times!

Told to stay away from Notts so he could sign him up.. Makes me think Cooper was always in it for himself..????

Noble on his day unplayable but he has too many games where he's invisible for 90 mins, his corners are awful, decent free kick every once in a while, has no discipline, a liability with talent - will rebuild and replace..

And another one of our former players Drissa Traore has gone to FGR! Cooper signed him at Swindon last season..

I think this will be a defining moment for Liam Noble, one which I hope is positive.

I entrust Mark Cooper to help him work on his game, you could see some of the time whilst he was here - that he was quite angered by performances but he doesn't show it. Something I suspect he will help mentor the anger out of Noble's game.

Good luck to him!

Ps. They also join Hamza has mentioned in my 'remember this?' topic. ;)

Good luck to Liam, going to FGR will probably have resulted in a pay rise and he will be playing his football at the top end of the division. I still think we made the right choice to release him, the lad was a head case and you can't plan a season knowing that he is going to miss a third of it suspended.

Didn't Cooper say he left a retained list? Then he changed it then left? Personally I thought Noble was a walking red card and a liability. When he played well, he was great, but saying that, only 10 assists for a midfielder in two seasons is quite an appalling statistic to be honest
