Possible Targets?

Has anyone got any rumours to share? I read something on the PoN facebook page about some possible impending signings, Bradley Wright Philips and Barnes Homer.

 

I personally can't see us affording Wright Phillips wage demands but not sure about Barnes Homer isn't he in Finland with the squad at the moment or am I getting totally confused with all these different names being bandied about.

I don't know about his wages, I can't see him being paid all that much by other sides who was in our league (especially whilst at Charlton).

When he was reported to be signing the first time around, I didn't believe it. He had been making comments about wanting to do well in the Championship, although he doesn't look the same player as does in League One. He tends to struggle after awhile, he also prefers to play as a striker (at least I believe so) and on the wing he does not provide much threat.

We will see with him

Barnes-Homer is on trial with us, he did well in League Two last season and he's got a pretty good record in the non league. He's also rumoured to be signing, as supposedly Chris is happy with his contribution and a contact as been mentioned.

There's a winger who was mentioned, mid 20's and good experience above League One but my memory fails and I don't want to say the wrong name.

Also, if you read twitter for example you will see other rumours but people talk, it spreads and it becomes like Chinese whispers. I'm not saying these will sign, though I thought it was interested and decided to share. The last time I shared a rumour, I got shot down and it wasn't very enjoyable. Yet it turned out to be a good call to follow the tip, as he made a last minute move.

Share and let us know who's being rumoured to sign or players we are looking at.

i would love to see bwp, he's poor above us but would be good. i don't know the other player, this isn't a rumour as such but O'Hara is supposed to be out of favour at wolves, would love to see him join.

Don't know about Notts but I wish The Rams would sign a good central defender,otherwise I'm very happy.

I'm sure things are coming along well for Notts though.

No definitely not impressed . Injury prone and didn't play particularly well for us. I want Notts to sign players who are totally committed to the club and winning.

I had forgotten about Jordan Stewart, he's probably gone over there to purchase one of them stupid baseball caps. (since he insists on wearing them all the time) Guys a football chav! Though I didn't mind him as a player. Don't like the dress code
