I see Preston have given Kevin Davies a two year contract at 36 years old.


 


I think he could be very useful in this league but is a two year contract a bit much? Would you have signed him for Notts?

Kevin Phillips is older, still doing the stuff that got him known. Kevin Davies isn't all that different, although a totally different style of player. They've got a good player and the contract is probably about right, if they signed him for one year and attracted championship interest, he would probably leave. This gives them cover and Preston will be a threat with him upfront.

i think 2 years is mad, he's not the player he was and I don't see him being all that impressive.

He could still punish us! I think our defense can take care of him Liddle and Leacock!!
